Cartier really gets it. Cyrille really gets it. Well done. Just a little note to the video team. First, thank you for running around W&W and capturing all these watches and interviews. I know the chaos must be exhausting. If I could offer a bit of a suggestion. Just have two cameras. One that is fixed and shows both the interviewee and interviewer. The second camera is on a table stand, with a watch rest - the distance from the camera to the watch is fixed so the focus is constant (the whole assembly can be moved quickly). As they discuss watches, they can place watches on the stand. The video would have a macro shot of both people, then a picture-in-picture that shows the close-ups of the watch. Really this way, not much editing (if any at all) is needed to capture the relevant information, and can quickly be deployed from interview to interview. Cheers and thanks.
Hi Wei and Cyrille, thanks for the insightful video not many dealers and bloggers are this knowledgeable. Cartier ...yes ...how are you finding some of the interchangeable straps? I bought a DLC 2 months ago 31/1/23 thru an AD and I love it, but when I went to change the strap for the first time the press button on the side of the clasp fell off! I went into the flagship store in my town SYDNEY and was told 'oh I see you did not make the purchase from the boutique etc', implying that the AD may have mistreated the stock etc. Instead of just swapping the buckle over, because it's very apparent that there is a manufacturing issue with that particular buckle. I was given the 2nd class citizen experience as I have to prove that my watch is genuine by handing the entire piece over for 2 weeks for their assessment. Talk about boutique only! I have been a Cartier brand supporter for almost 40 years and am no stranger to the clasp concept. Your thoughts as an expert, collector and CEO? Brand Loyalty vs Store Loyalty = customers get deflated through the fight.
I love this man ❤ I’m going so much to get more Cartier! Exclusive but including, not excluding, back to Earth, to fair prices so that new generations can also afford and appreciate this beauty. ❤❤❤
Cartier is getting me again and again. Ordered the Tank Solo Large with the deep black dial and can’t wait to get it. It’s too small for my wrist, its sort of old fashioned and i needed to have it 😂 Would have loved running into you guys, maybe next year than, cheers and hope you had a great stay in Geneva.
The content of this channel is always superb but the problem always the cameraman. Doesn’t spend enough time on the watch and the angle taken of the watch is so frustrating to watch. Spend more time on the product please thank u
I think they want to keep it as far away as possible from the Tank Louis. The ETA 2892-2 that’s in the Santos Galbée for example has a diameter of 25.6mm. The Tank Must large (same size as Tank Louis) is 25.5mm wide, so that would not fit. This means they’d have to use a simple handwound movement as in the Must de Cartier days.
haha i don't think wei made a face. he actually responded by quoting something cyrille said in their previous interview that, "a cartier watch is not an expression of gender, but it is an expression of the strength of your character."
This was the best interview I’ve seen yet for this year’s watches, and wonders. Great job!
"A Cartier watch is not an expression of gender, but an expression of your character". Sums it up perfectly.

This year Cartier absolutely passed over Patek. Sensational novelties!

Odd zoom in shots but great interview
Ahhhh, allocations.... The insider trading of the watch world
So humaniste vibes and brand Cartier
To give acces to everybody with this small watch
Unbelievable design
How match prise?
The Santos Open Work is beautiful
Will Cartier ever bring out a steel Automatic version of the Tank Solo/Must with no date?
Am I a watch snob if the quartz movement puts me off????
Get the solar, in my opinion it feels like it has more character on the wrist then the standard quartz. The strap is not great though.

Should've asked them why they don't produce free sprung balances in their "in-house" movements
Tank Normale on that bracelet!!
Cartier ❤
Wei's face when Cyrille said "the target of that watch is for Asian women who have very small wrists." 😅😅😅
