Enjoyed listening to your review! I've played this co-op (2P) and solo, and am blown away by how well they managed to translate the video game experience to the tabletop - the attention to detail is remarkable. Probably my top game of 2024 so far.
If you have friends to play with I would say definitely get it. The multiplayer component really adds a ton of depth of strategy to an already amazing game. It was fun to play as single player as well, although takes a long time and while it is different enough from the video game to feel like a somewhat fresh experience, I would almost always rather just play through the video game solo. If you either have friends who you know would play or some that you think you can convince to join you though it is definitely worth it for the co-op experience
I did get my Enigma of Combination book around the same time as Slay the Spire. But I'll try to finish my review this weekend and try and get a video up this coming week. But explaining through comments would be difficult.

I have played it on TTS and can say it is very fun. This and the DRG board game are very complex yet authentic to their original experiences.
