Jacobi method uses the values obtained from the previous step while the Gauss-Seidel method always applies the latest updated values during the iteration

Sister ap k pass concept belkul nhi he bas sirf rata lagaya he tu ne. Mere heal me ap ko Diagonal Dominance ka pata b nhi hai.
In the 2nd inreration for Y2 we have to use the value of x in 2nd interation and the value of z in 1st interation but you have written to use y value

in second iteration you multiplied the value of Z by 2 in first equation. It was not present in 1st iteration...

But the approximation concept that you had explained is not the actual reason because in decimal digits there is a concept of estimation of digits that's why we jump to the approximation 😊
