Yuppp I’m so glad I’m going into learning this skill currently in the trades doing labor roofing, decking, and a lil bit of electrical and furnace installation experience this shall be a journey 😎😎
Loved your videos and shorts! I've been looking into a new career that I can be proud of and enjoy. So, I have nooo clue why my dang brain did not think of this path a long time ago. Shame on you brain. 😂 I've done a bit o' research, and this career fits me to a T! Thank you for the great information and showing some humor in it all as well. I'm sold!😂 ❤
Damn, I just liked and subscribed only to find out there aren’t anymore videos I can watch. Hope you make more soon! Unrelated, but would you happen to know if I could be a licensed home inspector as well as a roof salesman? Or is that a conflict of interest? I’m currently in roofing but I’ve noticed many new builds with problems that aren’t storm related. I even had a guy try to hire me to do his home inspection from things I noticed after a hail storm but I told him that I wasn’t licensed.
Great video! Are you working for yourself or employed by a company? Im interested in going this route but i was wondering if you need previous experience to become a professional home inspector and work for yourself? Thanks in advance sir!
Hey man! Great video. I just applied to be a home inspector for some experience in some sort of field of investigations! Just graduated college with a degree in Criminal Justice with a focus on Investigations, my goal is to continue to grad school and work part time as a home inspector to get the experience I need to pursue a career! Any tips or helpful things that you didn't put in the video that would help me out? I'm used to looking at homes with my family because I have members that are Real Estate agents and they tell me what things to look for as a buyer and agent as far as damages, repairs needed, etc. Thank you!
Late reply but look to get certified by a home inspector organization like ASHI or InterNACHI. I know both of them provide relatively cheap online video courses that cover everything you would need to know.
That AC disconnect is a non-fused stab in disconnect. I wouldn’t say it was missing a fuse in your report just in case your client is a licensed electrician.
Thanks for the video! I’m considering getting into home inspection, but I’m wondering how practical it would be to do it as a ‘side gig’ while working a full time job? So I’m talking only weekends, something like 1-3 inspections per week. How flexible is this job? Is it on your own time? How long does an average inspection plus entering the data etc. take? Am I stupid for thinking I can just do this for extra cash?
@@lars526 very flexible. I would recommend just going full-time. Not to discourage you from trying it out but for someone who does this full-time, I personally would rather have everybody doing it 100% and not taking away work from people who need it to support their families. I don’t say that as a point of contention with you, I say it as a point of encouragement. Honestly, you can make really good money doing this full-time where you don’t need anything else at all. I learned that the first year.
Great video! Thanks for posting. If I had to find a minus here it would be the distracting background music. Keep the simple yet informative and easy-to-follow content and guidance....lose the background music.
@westtexashomeinspector I just found it distracted me and made it harder to pay attention to what you were saying. The content was great and you gave alot of really useful information. But Im the type who could never have music or TV on when I was studying or doing homework.
Background music is fine turn it down. It should be like elevator music. Turn it down when your talking and back up when your just showing us what your doing. And the Bane was 🗣️💯🤟🏾
@swiftyzai3365 I'm sorry if my question may have sounded personal , but I want to do a home inspection as well. I just want to know if it as lucrative as they say?
Do not, do not tell people to hire a professional to fix anything. The buyers need to know how to fix things because things break over time and they need to not be babied and they need to know who to fix things.
Nice video!
It’s a good look in the everyday process of a home inspector. I’ve been on the fence about becoming an inspector. Thanks
Hey man I enjoyed the video and am trying to get started in the home inspection field.
Bro, your a badass. I’m trying to be like you my friend🙌🏼💪🏼
Love the transition snap of the fingers 😂

Hope things are busier out in West Texas than they are in East Texas. Used to live out there about 30 miles out of Odessa.

What’s the best place to do my pre licensing courses

So do you send your inspection report? Is it on site or do you go home and email it?

@@erichoffman2243 thanks! How much background music is too much? I find a lot of great vlog videos have it and I find it entertaining.

@@ClasictheAlchemist Ok that's a better idea than just leaving it out entirely!! Good call.
Greetings from a Detroit home inspector.
@@DetroitHomeInspector sup!
you should narrate for a side job, your voice is perfect.
How much do you charge for a new house inspection?
Average inspection is $400, plus $150 if you want sewage line video inspected… which you should ALWAYS do
How much money did you make to show up and do the home inspection?
?

how much a do you average a month i was thinking of getting a home inspection license
😂😂 Too bad I can’t do an inspection that fast..
Like the video
Wow cute little barbi tool kit, remember kids those who can do those who cant inspect
What a weird way to tell us that your builds can't pass inspection lol
Are you self employed?
