❤very good cutting ❤v done this with mo cedar to square up fence post n make beams for building a lean to on another shed and a man can save himself a lot of money this way takes a little bit to tough en up but after doing it a bit you get better and it don't hurt as bad especially when you get the job done and realize how much you saved
No ppe, no this, no that, too much gas, too little of that, but at least he has the BALLS to do it without waiting forever for the best and right possibilities that may never come his way. Rough beginning can be a good foundation.
Good Job 👏👏👏👍🏻👍🏻 Im looking at the cut wood thinking this would look fantastic slabbed with live edge as my counter top. I dont know much about cutting wood or different types of wood. I just know its a nice looking wood and would look good as a live edge slab. And I know the man working the chainsaw do a great job that this was no easy task to get such a good clean cut with a chainsaw and with no guides on a log of this size.
Hello. Just curious...I have tons of poplar trees. Not good for firewood or exterior building. But could I use it for interior framing for rooms? Curious if polar is just to weak to build with. Also does it need to cure/dry out or can i just cut them and install?
Poplar is quite strong. And not many trees approach it in terms of strength/weigh. If you can keep it away from water and moisture it lasts ages. They used to make roofs with poplar trees that lasts over a hundred years. It's great for roof beams because it is very light and easy to work with. The traditional way for curing poplar is chopping it down in the coldest months of winter. Best a week or so after a new moon. And then just letting it lay there with the bark intact. When the spring comes, some parts of the tree wouldn't even realize it is dead and it will start some buds and make some leaves. These buds will use up a lot of the water in the wood. Only after this, you peel the bark. and it is ready to use. Just make sure to keep it away from water.
definately,Ive cut some thick poplar rounds and have never seen such beautiful colours, orange lines, red wine patches and browns. Go for it,I think the Mona Lisa was painted on poplar, enjoy.
I have tinnitus watching this, literally. From running blowers weedwacker impact wrenches with no earplugs. Wear ear protection the ringing never stops once it starts!
Thats Not a easy task, he just made it look easy. Getting a good clean even cut on a log this big around with a chainsaw and No guides is very hard to do if youre Not experienced. If you dont know what youre doing it will turn out looking like a real mess. Thats if you even get to finish with out breaking the blade. I do agree it looks easy he just simply split it down the middle like there was nothing to it. Thats because he is that good, he knows what he's doing....
how so? ive milled thousands of board ft still the same sthil chain saw. that way he cut it is actuly better for the saw as it dosent bog down nearly as much as saw a mill.
@@alexlindekugel8727 I mean he could cut boards with half of the revs. He doesn't need to use the chainsaw at full throttle. Just to save the engine and make it last longer. Don't you agree?
Que maestro! Te saco mi sombrero! And he didn't even start to sweat!
Seeeee Senoir Luis es Meistro de moteceria 😀🤟🏽

Thanks bud !! He’s been doing this since he was 9! They don’t know what Ppe is ....
And no fear... you can tell he is a true craftsman.
5:00 that's why you do like him and have a strong grip on the saw at all times. Be safe out there
Absolutely thanks buddy

Bait/string line was guide/all bullshit corncob

Ask him if he has tryed this with a bow bar.
I find the bow bar to be easyer for ripping with no guide.
Good

Sounds good
He's only been doing that 40 years that way
Have any of you done this ?
Yeah and I'm only 16 with my little chainsaw
Yep, we are doin that chainsaw milling technique here in the Philippines.....
Yeah, he's only been doing that for 40 years now
you also need to be good at sharpening chains
Hello
Greetings indonesia
No Kevlar, no goggles, no ear muffs...
It's Mexico they do it different there
I need earmuffs to watch this
Hahaha! He does so much more than split 😂😂

Mantap mantap👍👍
Must be a high powered saw or a bad muffler
I don't get it. My boards suck.
Good job tho.
1 big tree can make a 1 boat....
Joss
Yep, been doing that for 40 years now
Baru belajar ngegesek kayu ya Om. 😂😂😂
Omong besar luu
Great..
No eye or ear protection bad idea
Oh yeah, that's funny. He's only been doing this 40 years. That chainsaw has lasted five years doing the same exact thing.
How about some boards? Lol
All he did was split it.
Thats Not a easy task, he just made it look easy.

How to destroy an engine in one pass

The wear on the bar and his skill say he’s done this many times

He is over working the machine burning gas for no reason ,thats soft wood, doesnt require all that reving but good job
THE MACHINE IS NOT OVERWORK, ONLY THE TIP OF THE SAW IS SAWING THE WOOD,
Without high rpm the cut will wander.
I’d bet my left dick you don’t do any free hand slabbing
