Nice video. I’d say going on that ferry twice to both islands was likely a logistical sacrifice. I’m planning a snorkeling trip next year sometime to Culebra island exclusively with flight directly from San Juan. I am trying to incorporate mosquito bay as well during trip and little culebrita. We did a 6 day cross island road trip this year and still left a lot on the table. Perhaps the most memorable and imo a very underrated portion of Puerto Rico is the center where the rivers are at around Utuando and Arecibo. You can find magnificent cave formations with rivers flowing underneath it. We literally did a real lazy river adventure with flying bats over our heads when cruising underneath the caves in a tube. We did a hiking/zip line/cave tubing excursion on the Tanama river and the atmosphere was so breathtaking that when I watch the videos. It just can’t capture the absolute rugged beauty of the landscape.
Thanks a lot for your reply and for watching my video! One week that I’ve spent in Puerto Rico is definitely not enough for this place. I agree about the ferry ⛴️ part but flight ✈️ tickets seemed too expensive for me compared to to the ferry price and I thought about going on ferry as an adventure. However, maybe you’re right and it’s too much time spent on it. Also, I really appreciate you describing your trip across the island. 🏝️ Based on that and on someone else’s comment about the waterfalls, I do think that I will need to come back to Puerto Rico! 🇵🇷 Thanks again for your great feedback about my video, means a lot for me! 🙏
Thank you for talking about the not so happy history of Vieques and Culebra. But yes, even a beach snop from Florida can see how amazing PR beaches are. Also lived in Florida, but PR beaches are on another level.
Thank you for noticing recognizing it! I think it’s important to learn something about the history of the place you visit in order to better feel it. 🥰 And yes, Puerto Rico beaches are better than Florida ones, especially Flamenco beach 🏝️ - it’s just one of a kind!!! ❤
Great Video, Well done! Gonna visite Puerto Rico in October... was helpfull into shaping our travel! Nice voice! Nice edit! Nice tone of Voice! Makes the video even more relaxing with all those views!
My daughters just came from my Island Puerto Rico they went to La Perla took pics and had a great time there are certain areas that are restricted that's all❤
Right, that’s what I felt too about La Perla! I visited Puerto Rico in November 2023, not long time ago. Glad that your daughters had a good time there! 🫶
Minute 1:39 onwards: Maybe you don't know about it, but at that heigh a sudden unexpected gust of wind can mean a sure death! So, take care of yourself and don't do that! 😮
well… so would love to promise you that I won’t do it again, but it doesn’t feel like me… I want to feel that kind of adrenaline, because that’s me. You are very kind to me though and I really appreciate it!
The waterfalls in El Yunque are not the only waterfalls on the island. There are many much larger and more impressive waterfalls around the island. Even on the other side of El Yunque, outside of the national park, there are much larger falls.
Thanks a lot for your comments! I agree, I should explore west side of the island too, I saw some pictures of beautiful beaches there! I didn’t know about impressive waterfalls there though, so appreciate your insight! I do need to plan visiting west part too! Thanks again! 🙏
@@polinaishavingfun The central mountains of the island have lots of waterfalls, rivers, and caves. On the other side of El Yunque, in the town of Naguabo, there's a place called Las Cataratas de Naguabo. Very beautiful!!
@@polinaishavingfunyou misunderstood, the people will be friendly, most will, I said I was told they didn’t like that. It’s a small town with not much money and some find it disrespectful for people to go there as tourists
@@polinaishavingfun sweetie you have to look around, where do you see the money going? As much as I agree with you, that’s not always the case anywhere. Just because a city is in a famous music video doesn’t make it safe and tourist-friendly, and that’s not the only town like that in Puerto Rico. The hurricane damage alone is STILL to this day not fully gone, a lot of my people are out there struggling and they don’t see where tourist’s money is going, just another thought 💭

If you lived in the metro area, the field in front of El Morro was where your parents would take you to fly kites when you were little. ❤
I saw that place with the kites 🪁 flying around! It is very beautiful! Puerto Rico is a special place, I really enjoyed my trip! ❤️
Amazing views! Puerto Rico is definitely in my bucket list now, thank you for that!

I liked your honest review. Are you able to drive around el yuncen and not get out of the car?
I would say you can do it, just stop at some view points to enjoy the views. However, hiking was actually fun too there. Thank you for your feedback!

Your pronunciation in Spanish is very nice. 😌

I use DJI Mini Pro 4. It’s pretty light and good for traveling but it’s hard to run it with a strong wind. 💨
