I've said it many times before and saying it again: This knife 🔪 deserves to get the best of 2024 award 🏆🥇 for sure. Excellent design and craftsmanship. WE Knives killed it.
I picked up one, and I absolutely love it. It's just a nice-looking knife that is good for putting in the pocket for church or going out to eat something along them lines.
Great review! For those interested, I reached out to WE Knife for more info on the finish. It is a black DLC that has been bead blasted, so it is a very strong finish that will not come off easily. Also, apologies for being that guy, but “indentation” is pronounced “in-den-TAY-shun,” not “in-DEN-shun” 😅 Kudos for being willing to take such an expensive piece and really putting it through its paces for us! Cheers! 🍻
The integral with the chamfering looks amazing with this smooth matte finish. I especially like the ribbed lock relief and that the clip contact point is far away from it.
Agree, seems like flipper knives are making a come back from the days when companies figured how to do a good detent. Especially from WE, seems like the put a flipper on every knife.
Let me call out something rarely talked about. Companies in China make some AWESOME knives. For all the complaining and whining I hear about china (politically) we sure are addicted to everything they produce. Correction… we are addicted to paying very little for what they produce.
The knife is obviously inspired (to put it lightly) by original Borka Blades pieces in terms of aesthetics, but misses the ergonomics. For this price, I will go with Microtech Borka Stitch any day.
You're probably only youtuber who pointed out why this notch area is that ugly. It's a blade stop. That's why I don't think high about integrals. So much effort just to get compromise solutions like that because they couldnt make blade stop inside.
This probably the closest thing to a customer as a production knife can get. Very cool 🔥 keep up the good work friend! The best blade videos in YT!

Nice Stassa, thank you for content and thoughts!

Love seeing knives that aren’t flippers.

amen
It is really nice, but the GTC Solid is much more interesting to me. They've said they aren't looking to try anything like Magnacut either.
These look excellent. Awesome!
Would you consider adding a stabbing test to your testing regime? I am curious about ergos stabbing through the sidewall of a car tire.
Great looking knife. To me it looks more like a tanto than a Persian blade.
Yeah, a Persian blade is a trailing point, this has a flat spine. Definitely closer to a tanto.
Clip is too in your face but goes in tge pocket smooth. Perfect 10/10 in the esthetics category. Smooth as butta😊😊😊
Too rich for my wallet but she’s a BEAUTY Stassa!
Thats a beauty, unfortunately im in budget knife mode tight now😂
A nice one, if the tip was lower id be tempted
Man that is a sexy blade

Politically USA has his own sins on account. Anyway WE are made with western materials, designs and probably lot of "know how".
I guess that I don't understand the $400 price tag.
I suggest you do some research on how much work goes into making an integral framelock
Pure sexy. Great review!

Thumb studs and a whole don’t go together in imo.
Don't like it either but if they are blade stops I can deal with it
375 isn’t a bad price for a nice knife theses days
