If your Iphone won’t detect your TV on Airplay connection. Do cold reboot the TV by press and hold the power button on your remote control while your TV is on for five to six seconds and let your TV will turn off and on. Second: Go to TV settings, General, Network and Reset Network after reconnect to internet Third: Reboot your Iphone and reconnect to the internet Last: Go to Airplay function and probably your Iphone will fine your TV and the Airplay will work well Note: Make sure your TV software is updated same us your IOS :Make sure both TV and Iphone are connecting is same network

After fighting with all my devices for an hour, it occurred to me why it still wasn’t working, but working right up until the info in this video ended. You must be on Source: TV. Instant fix. This critical piece of info could save a lot of grief if the first step was: make sure the source is set to TV.

Turn on Airplay logging (It’ll give you a brief description of what it is when you try). Perhaps it’s just luck, but my device (iPad) wasn’t connecting even after multiple attempts. It worked after I turned on logging.
You might be able to go into the settings on your phone and find where it outputs. I haven't heard of anyone doing it this way but I bet it's possible.
You taught me a lot! Finally made use on my Mirroring feature, learned quick shortcuts, and enjoying my new tv more. Even got the sound to be to my liking. Now using the tv remote isn’t so bad. Before tv remote would only sit next to the tv but have to use it nowadays along with cable remote.

Hi Juan, I tried to use airplay on my Samsung tv but the ambient mode kicks in instead of my iPhone/ipad screen. I followed exactly what you showed here. I can actually hear the audio of whatever is being played on my ipad, but Tv screen is showing ambient mode. I found no where to click to select my ipad screen instead of ambient screen. Have a Samsung QN90CA 75 and MacBook Air running OS Sonoma 14.0. I’m following all the Airplay instructions and get the mirror of the MacBook but it is of a different screen. Can’t figure out.
Make sure ur tv and iPhone are connected to the same internet and make sure ur tv supports airplay not all Samsung smart TVs support it and make sure Bluetooth is enabled on ur iPhone

Same thing with me, when I got to settings there is no general tab or air play setting that I could find. The only setting tabs are picture, sound, broadcasting, network, system and support
Usually APPLE intervenes when it comes to watching movies from illegal sites becoz they don’t make money .it happened to me 1 time ,then went back using HDM1 cable

I’m trying to mount a TV in my trailer so my wife and I can watch movies with headphones while our baby sleeps. Does this TV have to be connected to a wifi for air play to work? Currently my main living room of my trailer has a TV with an Apple TV box so we can air play. I’m trying to mount a TV on our bedroom wall without having to buy another apple tv box.
I believe that they have to be on the same wifi network to be able to do this. Similar with the way the Apple TV works. Just make sure the TV you hang has this feature in the settings. All the newer models do.

That's unusual. Try unplugging your TV for a few mins and then plug it back in. It gives it a hard reset by doing that. Then see if it works.

I have a 2019 series 6. I think you have to have a 2018 and newer. You can do this if you get an Apple TV, but that will cost you.

Usually APPLE intervenes when it comes to watching movies from illegal sites becoz they don’t make money .it happened to me 1 time ,then went back using HDM1 cable

Apple is the one who who made AirPlay 2 available on smart TVs across TVs by Samsung, LG, Sony, Vizio, & other TV brands as well

I’m trying to mount a TV in my trailer so my wife and I can watch movies with headphones while our baby sleeps. Does this TV have to be connected to a wifi for air play to work? Currently my main living room of my trailer has a TV with an Apple TV box so we can air play. I’m trying to mount a TV on our bedroom wall without having to buy another apple tv box.
I believe that they have to be on the same wifi network to be able to do this. Similar with the way the Apple TV works. Just make sure the TV you hang has this feature in the settings. All the newer models do.
Is there a way to do this on Samsung Family Hub Smart Fridge it already works on 75 inch LG TV but idk if I can do it on fridge

Make sure you're connected to the same WiFi and your Bluetooth on your phone is on.

Try doing a hard shut down on both devices and do it over again and see if that works.
