Thank you for this video. I found it very informative and on my next trip to Spain, I fully intend to take advantage of the info you gave in the video and include some of these sights in my itinerary. Just as an aside, at 0:56 you showed a point of land that you described as the most southern point in Spain. In fact, it is the most southern point on mainland Europe. That land is maintained by the Spanish military (and is closed to the public) and used to be an island but was connected to the mainland by a causeway a couple of hundred yards long. When you walk from Tarifa across the causeway, the Atlantic Ocean is to your right and the Mediterranean Sea is to your left. The mountains of Morocco are visible a few kilometers away across the Straight of Gibraltar.
Yes, would definitely love to know how you booked your tour guide. Also, how you found such a great camel ride? I feel like most of these are only by the roadside and don't do that long of a ride. This one on the beach looks so perfect!
Sorry for the delay. www.abtravels.com/ is the tour company. If you send them an email they create a proposal with all the info and it's very detailed with times and itinerary. Camel ride was 15 euros per person add-on. We had to book the ferry ride separately but the guide also told us the exact ferry tickets to buy. It was very smooth.

Howdy Mark! Looks like fun family day tour to Tangier. I'm heading to Port of Gibraltar for second time on board Sun Princess, and planning to do the crossing to Tangier from Tarifa. I was in port Gibraltar in May 2022 on board the Carnival Pride and already hiked up/down the Rock. I need to find a way to get to Tarifa and how long for the ferry ride. We're only there 7AM to 5PM. I'll have my passport so I can meet the Sun Princess in Cartagena Spain, if needed. This will be my number 62 overall cruise and 61-UN Country to visit if all goes well. Any information will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Hi great video! Thanks for sharing. Do you mind telling me if you used a tour company for this adventure? We want to do it in May but everything else I’m seeing is not appealing. Thanks! Carmen

We went for the day. Got up early to get to Tarifa port and then sat there for an hour or so. Got back to Tangier port at around 5pm but the boat was delayed an hour or so...so we got back to Tarifa around 7:30pm. Can't recall the cost, wasn't too expensive, like 80 Euros round trip?
Welcome and enjoy in tangier familly

Yeah, we could see Morocco the whole time we were in Tarifa. Pretty sweet!

Can you share a link or website for your tour guide/company in Tangier? Gracias.

Oh wow, that seems pretty short. Ferry ride was about an hour each way but coming home it was delayed an hour or so as well. Good luck!!!

This was very informative. Did you sleep over in Morocco? Can you give me an idea of your start and end time in the country? What did it cost?
