I've been following Saramonic for a while, and they seem to have great equipment. This one has some nice features. But this is out of my price range, at $562.50 US, as my videography is still not done professionally. (Where did you find the $299 price for the receiver and 2 transmitters? The picture you showed only had 1 transmitter. Is that what you were priced?) Thanks for the great review. Videos like this are very helpful. The power bank you showed is actually BIGGER than the ones they use to jump cars, now. I know - I have one.

can you say it is better than the updated version of the UwMic9 ? main concern is the built in battery for long term

Thanks for your review. About the negative points: The name is really silly and it could be something like Lex Luthor S, Batmobile S etc. Anything would be better than UWMic 9 S.
The size: The comparison is not fair because the Batmobile S is a UHF system and all UHF systems out there are about the same size or bigger (if older). Those little Rode etc are GHz equipment.
The battery: This is a polemic point. I am a news cameraman and am trying to go minimalist so wireless mics rather than wired ones and certainly built in batteries rather than external AA batteries. The built in batteries last up to eight hours what is more than enough for most shootings not forgetting that the mics will not need to be on all the time.
But what really called my attention is the title of the review: The most complete Batmobile S review? I am sorry but it's not because it fails to mention something very important that all other reviews also failed to mention:
Saramonic released a new UHF (read news, corporate) system/receiver, the Batmobile S, but made it incompatible with the plug-on XLR transmitter designed for the previous model, the Batmobile (without the S...) Meanwhile, they promised to release a new plug on transmitter but never did so the Batmobile S is useless for ENG as you just can't do news without a reporter mic and for that you need a plug -on XLR transmitter. Very few are still using wired reporter mics and most reporters will not put you on the top of their list of cameraman to call if you hand them a wired mic that will limit their movements considerably.
I bought the Batmobile S and am now waiting for a courier to collect it as it is going back for a full refund. I made a big mistake. I had the Godox Spiderman Pro , also known as WMic S 1 Pro. It is compatible with the plug-on transmitter designed for Godox's previous system, the Spiderman (without the Pro) system. It also comes in a very nice hard case (they are not an unnecessary luxury as people at Rode seem to think. They are absolutely essential equipment) etc. But it uses external AA batteries and I wanted a system with built in batteries.
Reason why I sent the Godox back and ordered the Saramonic and now am sending the Saramonic back and am ordering the Godox again! If you want a UHF system for ENG work that won't cost you 💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰 then get the Godox. You will have a complete set with lavaliere and plug-on XLR transmitter for the reporter mic.
You won't have that with the Saramonic.😡

What kind of USB charger or powerbank would you suggest to use with the UwMic9S? Would the transmitter and receiver internal batteries support PD? and how many amps maximum?
