You can use this reference format ( Who, When, What and Where)
Author, A. A. (Year). Name of the software or app (Version number) and GitHub URL xxxx

But if you are using Mendeley, follow the steps in the video, and when it comes to the Author section, type the software developer name or the team name. And this should work for you.
