ปโยชนม์ or Pyochonm means cloud in Thai. I composed this piece for my good friend Colby Kleven who also happens to be an amazing horn player. In this piece, I wanted to create an imaginary scenery of a hill of crystal cloud. As if you are strolling through a reflective and shimmery cloud sheet. The texture is both hard and stable, but also wobbly and airy at the same time. The air around you feels so thin and steamy, it is a little bit cold, but also indescribably warm and gentle. Everything around you is shimmering and reflective as if you are in one of your best childhood dreams. Nothing more, just a simple walk through a hill of clouds.☁️
