My favorites are Maybelline bad to the bronze and loreal bronze taupe... i have the Charlotte Tilbury ones but nothing can beat my drugstore cheap ones.

Love the recommendations! I'm all about one-and-done eyeshadows since they're so quick and convenient to travel with! Over the years I've really started to go for these type of eyeshadows only now because I noticed that even though some of the bigger palettes are great, I seem to always end up using just one or two colors which makes the rest of the shades pretty much wasted haha. I don't have time or the desire to build an intricate eye look on a daily basis.
I'm the same way - i like palettes a lot but i have to be in the mood for them lol
after hearing you and julia adams rave about tom ford abyssinian, it’s definitely going on my wishlist!
Armani Rose Ashes is one of my faves too! My one & done is Bobbi Brown Taupe. I always use a concealer or paint pot to cover veins and redness on my lids anyway, so I just pop this in my crease - done!

The Chantecaille mermaid eyeshadow in Starfish is SO SO beautiful! I love it so much! I also love the mermaid *matte* eyeshadow in Sylvie! They need more exposure because I never want them to be discontinued! I personally find them to be exactly like a powder eyeshadow but I guess they are cream to powder. They're definitely nothing like a regular cream eyeshadow that's for sure! They're a very unique texture but so beautiful! They work great on mature eyes too! The Charlotte Tilbury eyes to mesmerize cream shadow is my favorite cream shadows! I love one and done looks! So easy and so beautiful! ❤️ CT has 2 different eyes to mesmerize shadows for this holiday season and I REALLY hope she ends up making the Rose one permanent because it's *SO* stunning! It's so unique, it's almost like a rose gold but it's not because it's deeper it's hard to explain but if you haven't seen it yet go check it out! They're worth EVERY penny and that's coming from someone that doesn't like spending money lol I'm cheap and I wait for sales or find discount codes!
I'm so happy you took part in this challenge, I knew you'd have amazing picks! I might have to pick up either the LM Metallic Taupe or the Armani Rose Ashes (or maybe both?), they look so nice and "wet". Your eyes must have suffered after swatching all of the shades, but it was super helpful, as well as showing us the technique you use to apply the LM cream stick.

It’s a nice way to apply if you just want a sheer layer- I find it easier for my eyes than trying to blend out with a brush ☺️
I discovered the Roen 75 palette because of you, and it is definitely my favorite for this type of look! I ended up getting the 11:11 palette and love it just as much! Thank you for the recommendation!

I’ve lusted after it on your channel for ages and now it’s discontinued!? Damn! Might have to try the Tom Ford instead. Sounds up my alley!

Every single shade from Roen's 11:11 quad is an amazing one-and-done and definitely my favourites! Also, Roen's 2 singles Disco and Summer Disco are my other 2 fave one-and-dones. Oh ALSO Essence's Melted Chrome Eyeshadows in Zinc About You, Golden Crown, Warm Bronze, and Copper You are all excellent single shades.

As per her recommendations, I bought a Laura Mercier cream shadow stick, a Charlotte tilbury cream shadow, and a Mac painterly paint pot. I haven’t tried the Mac one yet, but my thoughts on the other two are this: if, like me, you have VERY oily eyelids, you might need to prime first. I have to play around with them still, but the Laura and the Charolette ones ended up creasing on my oily eyelids. That was without a primer. I’m going to have to try it again with an eyeshadow primer!

I LOVE Laura Mercier's Fresco as a one and done..also Urban Decay Naked and TooFaced Sun Bunny bronzer. Oh and Bare Minerals 5n1 cream eyeshadow in Radiant Sand👍❤
LM Fresco is SO nice, a hidden gem for sure. I only ever had it in a palette and it was by far my most used shade out of that entire palette. I no longer have that palette so i need to just get the single!!

I’m in trouble, I knew I would love your selections, especially Abyssinian, by Tom Ford. I’m thinking of which palette I can live without, to make room for this one!? The cost has definitely given me pause, but most of the Tom Ford products I’ve purchased have been worth the investment. Lately I’m reaching for MAC’s Pink Sienna which is in the SemiSweet palette and/or Soft Brown, also from MAC. 🤎💖I’ve also been wearing Bare Minerals Summer Bisque under both, I like that it is a multi tasker, so I can use it as a spot concealer on my face and it has SPF.

My headband is by Sophie Buhai and I got it on sale a few months ago - I think it was a seasonal shade from last year?? someone recently pointed out a great alternative from Amazon called “Makone Padded Velvet Headband”

Recently I tried rituel de fille eye soot in the shades (half light, golden age, love spell) I got them after watching Amanda z ( I highly recommend her channel) and I really love the shades and the formula. Also, if I may ask you are interested in any of Lisa Eldridge new lipsticks and glosses? I’m sure you already know but they will be available on Saturday for pre-order.

Can you have a undereye concealer favorites? I need a concealer that doesn’t crease😅
my faves right now are: armani power fabric (for medium coverage) or pat mcgrath concealer (for fuller coverage). i set them both with the pat mcgrath under eye setting powder and i get great longevity out of them! other under eye setting powders i enjoyed in the past are the BECCA one and the Laura Mercier one but I find the Pat McGrath one a bit more smoothing :)

nooo it's long gone! the chantecaille starfish achieves a similar look so i would just suggest that one instead. the original le metier beauty line went out of business a while ago so any stock you'd find is probably old and expired

One and done eye looks are what I do 95% of the time. Current faves are Dior mono shadow in Cosmopolite, Chantecaille luminescent eye shade in Pangolin, and Chanel Premier Laque in Quartz Rose (or Rose Quartz...always get it backwards).
I find differences between the old and the new Giorgio Armani 11 Rose Ashes eyeshadow. The old formula was better in my opinion.
On my lids they look and feel the same but they did tweak the formula so I don’t doubt that you can feel a difference. bummer you don’t enjoy it as much 😭
I swatched Starfish today, had so many hopes for it….but it was too dark for me
It sheers out really nicely on the eyes with a brush! finger swatches are def more intense
@@ttsandra I think it was the color as well, it has a lot of red in it. I don’t typically look good in reddish eye makeup. Though I do think it looks beautiful in the videos. Probably I will just buy it anyway, can always pass it along to one of my nieces.
Gah I LOVE seeing this video because I've been following Karima for several years now. I so wish I were a one and done eyeshadow kind of girl. I don't have the patience, confidence, and/or self-control...not sure which one is accurate. But I always love your picks. What are your favorite eye shadow palettes right now? For those of use who have trouble being more minimalist?
I love love love the Pat McGrath Mothership V and the Anastasia Modern Renaissance this time of year :) I am also very much a quad girl - Tom Ford Cocoa Mirage and Armani Avant Premiere are great fall faves as well
