If you're getting this on FL Studio today, you can make it more stable by enabling the following settings:
- Enable "align tick lengths" in the FL settings
- Use "fixed sized buffers" (in the FL Wrapper settings for SINE)
Hey, i went from producing EDM to producing Hip-Hop instrumentals but none of that got me feeling proud of my music, lately ive been using your tutorials to learn how to make orchestral / cinematic music and i rly enjoy the process.. Eventhough its mostly chinese for me cuz i have never learned music theory your tutorials are very helpfull and youre making my dream of composing and creating a track for a trailer or movie slighty more realistic and i just wanna thank you for that :)

hey Alex, can you do a video on tempo changes please? I have heard so many brilliant, emotional tracks which definitely don't follow a straight click. I would like your insight on where and when to apply tempo changes? Is it a case of just listening to your track through once finished ride the tempo track just like a fader? thanks

I always love using Brass in the pieces I upload. The Brass you use in this video sounds awesome and I love all the interconnected pieces. Also great mixing, it's taking me forever to mix one of my pieces XD.

Something called an "Expression Controller"! Otherwise known as CC 7 (Volume) or CC 11 (Dynamics). You can mess with these settings in your DAW, or MIDI Keyboard if you have one.

hmm, i was expecting much better sound, and more realizm for the price and size of this library. Not sure if its just your programming or what, but the attacks don't sound natural/real. Sound wise, a bit too crispy for me. I will stick with Cinebrass and Cinematic Studio Brass. Crazy, but i would say i even prefer Hollywood brass overall tone to JXL. I was NOT expecting that. LOL

You've mentioned Muse before, What do you think of Algorithm (Alternate Reality Version) by them, which is essentially just epic trailer music.
I think they humbled so many epic music composers with that track. Mindblowing job and obviously one of my favorites from Simulation Theory.

Sounds fantastic. Only, why are sample library devs starting to move away from Kontakt? First Spitfire, now orchestral tools (not to mention EWQL and their horrible Play engine).
I suppose Spitfire rocked the boat and showed everyone it's possible to create your own sampler.
Kontakt isn't liked by many developers due to different reasons, I suppose it mostly takes away the freedom to implement certain ideas or optimizations
