    Look at Joe’s mobility. His ability to throw on the run was incredible. Despite Brady’s accomplishments, Joe will always be my GOAT.

I'm so lucky that my first niner game i remember watching was the 1985 superbowl niners vs dolphins. But then the times Montana had his back injuries and his broken elbow was heartbreaking. Through the ups and downs and even when he went to KC I still cheered for Montana.

      Fair weather and bandwagon fans only become one because of "winning"
      True fans are the ones who are born and bred in the teams city or area. I've been a Niner fan since the beginning of cognitive memory, born and raised in the SF Bay area. That's a "real" fan.

    • @TheRgordon16
      @TheRgordon16 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@doodlepops707 I’m not from that area I’m from a city that did nothing but win Super Bowls in the 70s and now has 6 SB right now and I’m not a fan. I chose my own team to follow and it was the 49ers after they beat Dallas. The 49ers were not a winning team throughout the mid late 70’s and were not Super Bowl Champions until the 81’ season. After winning the NFC Championship against Dallas there was NO guarantee the 49ers were going to win the Super Bowl or that they would become the team of the decade. And yet I have been a faithful fan for 40 years. So your comment is nonsense. It’s easy to be a fan if you are from the same area. So there is nothing to brag about. Try being a fan in enemy territories pal, then talk trash. I love the 49ers and have spent lots of money on their gear and have spent money to see them every time they come here to my area. What made montana so great was he threw with his arm. He didn't do it like they do now trying to put all their body into the throw to try to get it the wr as fast as possible. He focused on accuracy over power with throwing the football. His throws constantly leading wrs in stride unlike todays game. And tom brady is not even close to montana. I don't care how many super bowls hes won. Hes not Joe Montana. Nobody is. Joe Montana played great coming into games hung over. Its why he always better in the 2nd half. the first half he was just waking up. they would find him in a ditch and take him straight to the game and slap him around and suit him up and he was so talented he still would be the best player on the field.
