This whole performance just instantly makes me weep tears of joy. Every aspect of this is simply magical. I deeply love this. Why can't I live in a world where this is what tops the charts?

It's our secret. It's best that way. It'll never be over exposed. It's an escape from the crap we have foisted upon us. It belongs to us, not them. By the way, check out Amelia Coburn's album `Between The Moon And The Milk Man'.

Folk music at its best, it has an ethereal quality that somehow resonates with a half forgotten history. It has depth and honesty that transcends time.

People today seem so one dimensional in their tastes, guess growing up in the 60s gave us eclectic tastes and a vast canvas of music to listen to, folk to funk, rock to blues. Open your ears kids there are wonderful horizons out there you should bend an ear to.

It's more dislikes now. Many many people only like stuff (I won't call it music) where you can sing along with oh so repetitive, boring strap line and wave your arms in the air at the same time. Art is out!

Live bands I have seen, Jimmy Hendrix, Fairport, Cream, Jefferson Airplane, I give up seen lots in the 60's I'm not claiming anything. Just this has an emotional content that maybe its just me. I'm not a grumpy old man unless you object to W Sunset by the Kinks, I walked over that bridge in the 60's with my now wife nearly 50 years ago, like I say I'm not trying to make a point

There's a whole lot for good folk bands and solo artist .
I used to be very eclectic with my music until i started looking into who controls and owns the music industry .
I stick to mainly folk and classical now, Folk music is very important to our culture . It is a social history of this great country , songs like , The rigs of the times , The testimony of Patience Kershaw and Four loom weaver . These three songs are all connected to the hardships bought about after the Rothschilds had robbed the stock exchange and basically bankrupted the country .
Bellowhead do a good version of Rigs of the times , alas after 10 years they have parted company .
