Circa Survive is one of my favorite bands. The singer has constantly fought depression and addiction, and it comes through very powerfully in both the lyrics and music. As such, their music has helped me many times get through dark spots. They really don't have a bad song, but I'd recommend Schema next. Love all your reactions, Todd! 🤘
As you probably figured out, Anthony Green is a dude that can sing really high notes lol. Circa Survive kind of has a similar album progression to Thrive, post hardcore to rock/progressive/experimental.
Thank you so much for doing this! Circa Survive is my all time favorite band. It’s great to see reactions to them. They have a dedicated fan base but beyond that are pretty unknown to most people. They’ve been around since I believe 2004 with their first album coming in 2005. It was amazing to see you think Anthony Green was a she 🤣 his voice is definitely high register but that’s his unique style

Btw that's actually a guy singing! Anthony Green has an INSANE vocal range.
