Hey 👋 thanks for you tutorials! They’re always so informative and helpful :) is there a convenient way to save/export revit PDFs with a transparent background?
Do you know by any chance whether it is possible to attach pdfs to objects in the models via a relative path? I succeeded in using the absolute path, however refering to a relative path didn't work unfortunately
I don't like when 3d modelers are going to tell what to do with interoperability. In 2000 I was the first student that used PDF (Portable Document Format) ISO32000, and with AutoCAD I also use Postscript printing, but Autodesk don't like Adobe, and Revit is based on DWFx (XPS) ISO/IEC 29500-2:2008 (Design Web Format) because of that there is no export to PDF function or internal PDF printer. Also Windows standard PDF printer has only A4/A3 size printing. If there is a vector PDF than it's build in a vector software, so export to a 1:1 scale to DXF is what professionals do ! Snapping to a PDF whit bad scaling to a Revit that work in te background with feets is a bad idea. So make a new video with export to DWF/BIM360/A360/MarkupsDWF and you will see that that's the workflow that the developers of Autodesk mean / prefer.
