Well done with all those prizes at the show. The same happened here at the Gold Coast show, hardly any entries for cross stitch. I went to scout what was there as I thinking of entering something, someday. Love the bees wax. I stocked up on thread heaven before they finished, but I will try bees wax when I have used it all up. Thanks for a lovely video.
I am really grateful you are back and well. I don't have any Mill Hill ornaments. Congrats on winning!! Celtic Christmas is gorgeous! What an awesome husband!
That was awesome Claire. Wow so many beautiful finishes, especially Nefertiti. I wish I had the same dedication to king Tut. Looking forward to seeing you more often 😊
I was so excited to see that you posted another flosstube episode. Miss you between them!!! Congrats on all your finishes....your stitching is beautiful!!!
At an op shop here in NZ today I saw a completed and framed Tutunkahmun. I didn't have the funds today (only $30) but if it's still there next week I'm rescuing it. It made me so sad that somebody could just discard all that hard work.
Nice to see you again Claire! Congratulations on your first place ribbons!! Loved seeing your finishes and wips. Nefertiti is amazing! Happy stitching xx
😀🤭Oh gosh Claire ~ I spelt your name incorrectly when I replied to your comment, please forgive me. Well done on your finishes. You have achieved legendary status with your show pieces. People will saying in years to come; “Remember that year when one person won all those cross stitch firsts....you won’t see the likes of her again!!!” What a thoughtful husband to give you that lovely cake. (Maybe you could do him a beard cake with Kreinik for the whiskers!) lol Happy Stitching xx:):)🌹
So great to see you. Loved the update. You've certainly been busy, lots of finishes, starts and plans. Congrats on winning at your local exhibition. I started stitching the Mill Hill Christmas village pieces last year but I only started one. I have 2 others, maybe I'll start them with you on Nov 1st & Dec 1st. 😀
Pam's Crafty Corner ohh yes! If you need me to be an excuse then go right ahead :) Might be a nice changed from all you massive wips! Mind you I keep thinking about taking up knitting..... you may well enable me there... all in good time.
Claire so good to see you. Aussie flosstubers that I love to watch seem to disappear at regular intervals. You mentioned CarolineMazeo, she just disappeared, for someone who was so very passionate about stitching to vanish like she did, I would love to hearfrom her again. Then Alis Stitching Studio went on a trip to the US and never returned and all of her videos have been removed from You tube, Again What The!!! So glad you are still here with us. I will be keeping an eye out for your next video. //(*_*)\\
Congrats on your Nefertiti finished. She is stunning! I say on your sailing wip that your needle threader is magnetized. I've been on the hunt for those forever and didn't find any Where did you get it? Love your video. Much love -Gen
Oh so worth the wait Claire ! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Congrats on the show awards ! I laughed when u said ...... so u know how I said it can be such a cheap craft 😂😂 600 bucks later 😂😂 so excited for u about the floor stand ! I love my floor stand ! ❤️ can’t wait for the next vid ! Happy stitching ❤️
Theresa Craig well ever since seeing yours I’ve been totally green with envy! I can’t wait for it to arrive 💗💗🤣 I know $600 lol ... cheap hobby... famous last words.... 😃🤣🤣
You can back your Mill Hill ornaments! Christine (Calico) here on Flosstube has a demo on her channel- she uses craft glue and a cheap paintbrush. Felt works well, but you could use thick scrapbook paper too. I always enjoy your videos; thank you for taking the time to make them!
Congrats on the winning in the show. I live in a small town in queensland and the show isnt big here two be proud that you won cos you deserve it. Maybe more people will put in cos of you next year. Also l just went on ebay and found beeswaxs which was white l have being looking also just worried it would melt so look on ebay found it for 7 dallors congrats again
Rachel Spiteri thanks Rachel and good luck entering at your show! White beeswax sounds interesting... it doesn’t seem to discolour but I don’t want to risk it plus the stitches would lay differently if I started using it mid project. Let me know how you go with it if you get some
