Great work Andrew, I am 68 years old and some of the work in close quarters on the 172 are strenuous, you make it look easy, I remember the calculations for bend allowance from A&P school, great job! Your employer is lucky to have your talent. Keep up the great videos.
Great work man. I am pulling the rudder pedal bars on my 210 right now, is how I stumbled on the video. I pulled the cabin door to make it easier to work in the plane. Also anytime you are working on a Cessna Single retract nose gear take a look at SK210-155. The tool for this is unobtanium, but you can do it without the drill guide using a mill (so I am told). Also SE84-3. I think I might have to bring my plane to you, great work.
Would you have been able to extend the repair bracket all the way to the firewall to reinforce the whole rudder pedal mounting area on that side rather than just the crack at the aft bolt? Seems like a better idea since you are already in there to extend the repair bracket to also strengthen the fwd bolt mounting area. Thank you for posting. Definitely a challenge with the limited space to work.
Great video. I'm an avionics nerd A&P and was wondering if you could do a video/explanation of what damage causes certain structural repairs. Is it usually stop drill, add backing plate? What situations would cause you to replace the entire sheet metal? Love your stuff.
Most of the stuff you time lapsed video was things I want to see- drilling rivets, putting nose gear back together etc. If you are wanting to save time do it with less face time and more mechanic work. Otherwise love the stuff. Thanks
Been watching lot of your videos, they really helpful. I’m about to get my A&P license soon. You got Instagram where you maybe post more often? If not it’s cool. But keep up with the TH-cam videos, they are great 😊
Did you have to get the repair engineered? Did you have to get an IA to approve the repair and then did the IA have to fill out a 337? Did you have to get special permission to install cherry rivets? Just trying to learn how this is all done. Thanks
This is some quality content and Im always looking for uploads. Im doing a restoration on a Jacobs R-755-9, but I dont film the process, just updates, I wish I had the equipment and time to make something like this though. Keep up the great work, well see you in the time lapse!
@@aerocrafty6006 Hey man, that would be super helpful. I just one shot everything on my phone, no edits at all and kinda wing it lol. That said, I've got several more engine restorations Ill be doing and so I think it would be worth improving the quality.
This video gives me anxiety from the time I had to repair the metal behind the master cylinder bracket, I'm just a big dude, and taking those pedals in and out sucked! haha
Going to be honest I do not know for sure... Idk if it is as designed or just physics. All the landing gears actuators run off the the same power pack and it comes down to which one takes the least resistance to move first I believe that is the reason.
This is to certify that this guy knows what he does, I have seen his work and certify he is Satisfacory for an Airworthiness Release. Me-A&P/ IA 12345678910. P.S. This not to be copy for any example for recommendations letters....👽👍 😛🤙 Keep up the good work...muchacho. Good Luck.

If you want a list of my video equipment lmk.
But honestly a phone and the app premiere rush is all you need. I have filmed and edited several videos on this channel completely on my cell phone.

Why is the main landing gear not retracted at the same time? There are some seconds difference from the left to the right. Same with my TR182
