I had the same problem with the hand landing. Sometimes it would work sometimes it wouldn’t. It will land on your hand in the regular land mode. It’ll sense your hand as the ground.
I know that you made this video quite a while ago, but have you seen other videos showing how you can increase the range and height. There’s an app that can let you fly it up to 100 feet high, it changes the software to allow that.

One of the best reviews so far I've read! Are you using any WiFi extender? I didn't see any skipping in your footage that most people are complaining about tello. And lastly, please which setting are you using for the bit rate? Th@nk you and cheers!
Hmmm, I reckon an ND filter of some sort and some warp stabilizer and that footage might actually be just about usable. Just such a shame it's not 1080p.
Extremely good video. Electronically stabilized means this is actually a 1080 camera cropping to 720 most likely, which would be better quality than standard full screen 720.
That's probably a conservative estimate and an average. I don't have extra batteries so the motors have a chance to cool down after every flight. If you do a lot of back to back flights and not let the motors cool off, that lowers the life expectancy of the motor.
This quad is a good leap forward in technology especially in relation to price 😀 but I think the version 2 will address some of the issues people have had (sd card, a proper controller which works 100m+, GPS and maybe brushless motors) but then it would be very close to the Spark which dji wouldn't be to happy about so then again maybe not. Also MJX and Hubsan already have quads available with those features for a good price and MJX have a quad coming which has a very interesting camera with gimbals, so at the very least this will be a very good year for the toy grade camera quad. how do you move that footage from the tello app from phone to your saved vids an pics?....do i need to physically hook it to my computer to move vids/pics ?

Not using the extender yet... I upgraded to the latest firmware and that helped a lot with the frame skipping. I was using auto for the bitrate.

It sends the video to your phone via the WiFi.

Try a wifi extender, update the firmware, set your phone to airplane mode, close all other apps.
I've use wifi extender...but, still no changes...my phone RAM is 2GB

im a beginner drone owner and for a 100 bucks and have never flown a drone before im enjoying it.

What about its brushed motors? How many hours will it last? How much did you fly with till now?
I've flown it about 60-70 hours now and it still feels like it's brand new.
