    What a great cooler my husband was taking about buying an electric cooler for our camping trips. Love this one and the racks inside and especially the fact we would never have to buy ice again. Would be great for up hunting also.

    I personally like that they didn't build the power brick in it saves weight a decent amount and I don't even use it

      I said the same thing. Less weight, less space taken up inside, and one less source of internal electrical heat dissipation.

    I just bought one. Getting rid of my yeti cooler. I hope it's a good quality cooler and we can get many years of use out of it. I trust your reviews Lance that's why I went with this vs the Newair cooler.

    • @One2ManyHobbies
      @One2ManyHobbies  ปีที่แล้ว

      Awesome! For the money, you can't beat it & my personal opinion the Newair and this Vevor come from the same manufacturer - there area handful of name brands on Amazon that sell this unit. It was cheaper than the Yeti I bet - which is crazy!

      Thanks for replying to my posts. Another thing is that it beats messing with ice. I don't have to buy ice anymore and it has a freezer for the kids popsicles. Thanks again Lance. 👍

    I have this same cooler made by Newair. Mine advertises an LG brand compressor, where this one does not. This one has bluetooth and the Newaire does not. All the other features are the same. I don't know if you misspoke or not, but there isn't really any refrigerator side or freezer side. They both can be used as either. The lid is removable and reversible if you need it to open a certain direction when you have it in a vehicle. You may want to do as I did and make a converter that will regulate your tool batteries down to 14 volts and use them to power the fridge on short trips. Doesn't cost much to build and it is more compact than a device like a Jackory. The best run time and efficiency will come from running off a LiFePO4 battery directly. The new 100 ah mini drop in LiFePO4 batteries only weight 19 pounds and I ran my cooler over 2 days with 31 pounds of ice in it to simulate frozen food. I kept both zones on -4 F and Max cool the whole time. I was amazed. The battery that goes in the door next to the plug is kinda hard to find in stock, but BougeRV had them recently and I got one. It ran the cooler as a deep freeze with the ice in it for about 5 hours, If that's helpful to anyone. Also, once you have that battery in place, you can run the cooler off of a 12 volt solar panel, if yours is made like mine. I'd be curious to know if yours has the small solar charging jack next to that door on the end.

    • @One2ManyHobbies
      @One2ManyHobbies  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching, yes - either can be a fridge or freezer down to -4. This one has the solar port as well. These have to be made in the same factory over seas in my opinion, there are a couple “brands” that sell this model.

    • @mrhalfstep
      @mrhalfstep ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@One2ManyHobbies If you buy a battery, which I think is required if you want to solar power the cooler, DON'T EVER plug the solar panel into the charging port on the battery. All the magic blue smoke will come out. It's an easy mistake to make since the port on the battery is identical to the port on the cooler. A special charger is required to charge the battery outside the cooler.

      All of these coolers are model tww75. All of these companies are buying the shell from the same manufacturer.

      I believe bouge RV may sell a variant too.
      I have the newair because it's actually marked LG compressor.
      Luckily I got it on sale for the same price as this vevor

    Great video man! This is a splitting image of exactly what I do! But I do it at the Siesta Key Beach in Sarasota FL! I have the BougeRV & it’s amazing too. AN exact match to your Vevor! I have a 1000W solar battery and it works amazing. I’ve tried using a portable battery with it but the battery was unable to sustain the -2° for ice cream etc. We’re at the beach with 95° temps so it failed with a battery. They’re sending me another battery & I’m praying it can hold the 13.9v-14.1v required for the unit to keep the temps low! Have you had any experience with a portable battery? Thanks

    Hi, I am new to your channel. I'm wondering how this is holding up after a year people say that only lasts a couple months in reviews that I read on Amazon that's why I ended up on youtube. How is it holding up and how often have you used it to test it? I know you did this review one year ago and I'm hoping you still respond. Thank you in advance.

      I'm not familiar with 3 bars? Plug it into 110v power in your house and set them both to 32 degrees, Don't put anything in them and check back within an hour or so. Often time people will put warm items in them and turn them on outside in the 100* heat - they'll never catch up.
