Great informative video have tried the maggs pickle and pickled chilli they realy do make a difference
I use PATAK'S GARLIC PICKLE in my home made curry's. From Morrison's supermarket.
HP sauce I use in my spaghetti bolognese, 1tbsp + a good dash of worcestershire sauce - in recipe for 4.
When is part two coming out Julian? I cant wait!
BTW:- HP Sauce is now Dutch- made in Holland :-(
Mango chutney is a good choice, so keep with that, Pataks balti paste added a rich flavour too.
Hi Julian. I live in the U.K. and am subscribed to your channel. Can you tell me where I can buy the Shan special pickle. Is it only available to restaurants or is there somewhere I can purchase it. I’ve looked everywhere. Thanks in advance
I've found that caraway seeds and fennel seeds mixed together then fried at the beginning with G G paste just gives a different hit of aniseed. Great vlog thanks
Nice one.
HP stands for Houses of Parliament
hp also stands for something else, work it out ?
@@lolwhittingham gotcha 👍
@@Carlostype aha !
@@lolwhittingham only kidding🤔
Highly Probable!
Fascinating. Thank you
Top tips as always thanks
What condiments do you recommend for a balti dish? Recently I've been putting a teaspoon of mango chutney in mine to give it a nice sweetish background taste as well as throwing in a few piece of fresh tomato in.
MincraftPartner worceshire sauce
thanks for those tips Julian, but I can't find any where on the net { in the uk} Shan Garlic Special Pickle where do you buy it from?
Hi Joseph I’m also looking for the Shan pickle did you manage to purchase it. If so can you tell me.
Thanks
Tamarind all the way defo and of course Mr Nagga.
good video. BTW, audio only in the left speaker.
hi julian,
i have been cooking curries using your videos and they are really good, but in one video you said that you use chicken stock! is this your own creation and do you have a video of it. thanks john
Not a fan of the mono sound, but I do enjoy the vids.
Hello how can I get book 2 please
Great video Julian but your voice is only in my left headphone.
Indian takeaways should not put ketchup in their curries, it ruins the flavour so much!! Curries shouldn't taste sweet.
