    I'd have to agree that handlebars should be the top modification to any bike. I did the KST 6" bars on my new Chieftain and they make a world of difference in comfort and confidence in bike control at lower speeds. Nailed it, my friend. Ride safe!

    Yes same for me Ty the pullback risers went 9" thrashin. You really put out great content and real down to earth delivery! Keep up man ,I am partial to the black LRST especially since I have one it's really nice to have contrasting the big baggers

    Great video as always. Have a gunship gray Lowrider ST. I would agree, the Thrashin risers are the biggest game changer for me. Greatly increased the comfort of the ride. I also have a Bungking crash bar on my bike. The crash bar also serves as highway pegs. The crash bar and my Saddleman seat are a close second in terms of favorite modifications.

    Getting my Thrashin 6.5 risers and high bend bars next week. Looking forward to see and feel the difference. Also went the 10 inch KW screen. I am also investing in the 15 inch brake rotors 😉 Thank you for sharing this information, as usual I jump on your new videos,they are fantastic, regards from Australia 🇦🇺

      Thank you so much! Yeah, the LP6 just seemed a little too big for the front of the bike for my taste. The black chrome (Mercury) looks so good, but many people contact me and say that they can't find it any longer. Hopefully Bassani is just restocking. Thank you very much for watching!

    I need to add risers to bring the bars back to me but my purchasing dealer's part department claimed I needed new cables before the would order even the 6" thrashin set... so I am off to another dealer soon. I am not keen on doing the install myself as I really don't want to possibly oops it.

    • @TyFromTennessee
      @TyFromTennessee  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm still running the stock bars, just the Thrashin' Supply risers. From what I remember my local dealership did not have to extend the cables, but they did tell me that anything beyond the 6.5 would require longer cables. I appreciate your time and thank you for watching!

    • @TyFromTennessee
      @TyFromTennessee  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey there and thank you for checking out the video! I've had a few of my taller buddies (over 6ft) ride my LRST and the one consistent thing they talk about is forward controls. The mids work great with me but taller guys need to stretch their legs a bit. Also I've heard some mention a seat for taller riders might be a good option too. I hope this helps and thank you very much for watching!

      For now, I am going to leave the sound system in the Low Rider ST alone. It's not super loud and at about 60mph the sound quality diminishes a bit, but for around-town riding it's perfect...on the freeway...not so much. Thanks for watching Jeff!!

    Hey Ty, Thanks for the info, very informative. What size Clockwerks windshield did you go with and how tall are you? Did you find it cuts the wind entirely? I seem to get blasted by wind on my ST with the stock fairing - im only 5'9" on a good day! Also, can you hear the speaker system clearly at highway speed with the bassani? Thanks again

    • @TyFromTennessee
      @TyFromTennessee  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey there! I went with the 6" Flare windshield and I am 5'9. To be honest with you I really can't tell that much of a difference between the KlockWerks windshield and the stock. I think it's the design of the fairing that really keeps the wind off of me. As far as the speaker system goes...it sounds great when riding around in the city and around town and it has plenty of volume, but when I get going at freeway speeds the sound quality really diminishes, but I do think it's a great product. I sure hope this helps and I really appreciate your comment. Good luck and thank you for watching!

  • @director2bob

    Thanks for a great informational video. I turn 62 next month and buying anew Low Rider for my 62nd birthday. I have not been on a bike in 17 years my last bike being the heavy Street Glide with the sluggish 88 Cubic engine. So I do have a few questions for you because I am going to do a few mods before AI pick up the bike. I LOVE listening to music when riding. So my first question is can you hear the stereo after you changed out the pipes and especially if you are wearing a full face helmet. Back in the day I wore a $10 plastic brain bucket so I did not get pulled over when I lived in NY so the stereo on my street glide sounded amazing. 2.) how tall are you because I am also considering changing the risers for a more comfortable riding position. Last question is do you did consider a stage 2? I already know the stock engine will pull hard . I do not like riding 100 MPH but absolutely LOVE going from 0 to 60 as quickly as possible. So want to do all the mods before I pick up bike. Last question is what other pipes did you consider beside the Basani which looks awesome with the Black chrome. I always had Vance & Hines on my harleys but always loved athe 2 into 1 thunderheader. Any thoughts about the pipes and why you chose Basani? Thanks again for a greast video., You have new subscriber. Safe travels my friend🙏

    • @TyFromTennessee
      @TyFromTennessee  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Happy to help. Let me see if I can answer your questions...#1. Yes, I can hear the Rockford Fosgate stereo and I only wear a full face, BUT at around 55-60mph the sound quality does diminish considerably. #2. I am 5"9 and I would encourage taller riders to maybe consider forward controls. #3. Yes, I am currently in the process of shopping around for a stage 2. I am certain I'm going to do it but not for another 2 or 3 months. #4, I had Tabs with Zombie baffles and changed them out for the Bassani. I just really like the look and the deep quality tone of the 2-into-1. I hope that helps and I sure hope everything works out for your new bike! Thank you for subscribing AND watching! Have a great day!!

      @@TyFromTennessee Hey Ty....thanks for the quick response to my questions. I forgot to mention I am 5'7" so thinking the middle foot controls will be just fine plus the size of the fairing is high enough for a person my height. I read that taller people than me changed the risers/bars so they would not have to lean forward and have have a more comfortable riding position. So correct me if I am wrong being 5'7" means that the bars probably would be a tad too far away. Again I will figure all of this out at the dealer but prefer to get these answers from another rider and not a salesperson who make commision on every upgrade. Thanks again Ty.

      @TyFromTennessee  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Did your exhaust come with a bracket for the saddlebags?
    Also which type or brand of docking hardware did you use for the sissy bar? Was it purchased seperate or did the spacers come with the tour pak?
    Also did you need to extend the wiring, or brake and clutch cable for the 6.5 thrashin risers?
    Any info appreciated cheers mate bike looks awesome

    • @TyFromTennessee

      1. No. The dealership had the bracket in stock. I think I had to pay around $50 for it.
