You scared your wife bro. Please be careful 😂. I always watch your videos and I love them all. Your Yaris is still going strong. Can’t wait to watch your next one. Cheers!
@@GreatMotors OMG So sorry for the crash. Hope nothing serious happened to you both and the car not serious damage. Anyway just stay safe and take care.
I get that :)! I have done so in the past many times. Nowadays I am somewhat conflicted. I see an horrendous amount of accidents this year, this lap you could see 4 (!!) and the track had just been closed to remove all the accidents. On a weekend they are on high double digits. People have no idea, and just go out and push themselves way past their limit. I do TH-cam for entertainment. Speed is just a factor in that. The problem with showing the speedo is that I have heard it a few times around the track that people are happily comparing their speeds around corners with what they see on TH-cam videos. I don't want a couple of half brain cell blokes trying to do 170km/h on Mutkurve, 180km/h on flubplatz or 190km/h on schwedenkreuz. I don't want more accidents.
Cool lap! Which gloves can you recommend for the GR Yaris steering wheel? I feel like the wheel is a bit too thin, and i could use more grip on it And do you use an oil cooler?
I like this ones although they are not the cheapest. They are from OMP, model name is first-s. I use gloves because I sweat a bit from driving and the leader of the wheel becomes quite slippery.
I know it's a common issue. I don't think it's a power steering problem. People more knowledgeable than I am say it's some interference between the cross-link / anti roll bar pulling on the damper in certain situations. I feel it in my car sometimes but it's not that bad (to my feeling). I have people tell me I don't push hard enough. I also know it varies with different tires and wheels combos. I need to do a back to back experiment with someone that has it on their car and see if it feels substantially different than mine.
Good eye! I was not sure someone would spot it. My friend Chris had some trouble with his cold Trofeo R going through Aremberg. He was lucky, didn't get beached, just some small stone chips in the wheels. Which he has since repainted in an amazing blue color. And I think a track bill for the clean up work. You see me looking very actively in the mirror because I didn't see the accident happen live, and just noticed he was no longer behind. Daniel, the white yaris behind, blamed me for pushing so much on our first lap out 😅
I think it's very close to stock. Where I noticed the difference is that the car won't pull performance away as much on consecutive laps because it does better heat management.
@@PasadenaMurdock480that is not true. All semi interesting laps I put on TH-cam, including me crashing into the barriers. I do have 1 video that I am holding on of another car crashing into me. I am still waiting for the legal proceedings to be done before releasing it. Guess that's fair ;)

Always start on a wet lap and then hit them with full dry! Comment below 👇 if you want to watch the second lap ? Hint: it is faster.
Surely…

Thank you (a)live G-meter ;) , giving us much more speed impression....

Brilliant car. Glad I own one too 😊
A yaris that didn't blew the engine. What a rare sight😅😉 nice lap as always👌
I have seen a few people mentioning problems. It's sad to see, also that Toyota is running away from honoring the warranty.

Do you get the loss of power steering in trail braking or compression?

Also your driving is amazing
@GekyumeSama If you're the least bit lucid, you know very well that any video he records will turn out to his advantage! The technical question too 😉
See vid description. And he has many vids, including mistakes, so shame on the coach critics...

M2s, M4s and then M3s. Also probably the most crashed models.

The gloves don't grip? That's not good.. 👀
That's supposed to be the entire point of gloves, to have more grip.
