    I left that area 25 years ago for Eastern North Carolina but did see some mighty big storms in the '80s and '90s. I worked one summer at Trimper's Bar, LOL.

      The air temperature was in the 50'sF and the H20 temperature was around 10C.

    I would not venture out on the pier. It could collapse from the surf. That is one nasty Nor'easter!

      You are correct. I have seen the end of the pier destroyed quite a few times.
