Dongdaemun-gu used to be my old stomping ground. If you're near the college then it's a really good area with a lot of restaurants, e-mart, and other places close by.
Yes! That was my vision: be in a populated area, full of cute cafes and restaurants, and also be near other non-Koreans so I don't stick out so much haha please share any recommendations that you have!
@@HunterBrenaé - I did have a porridge and pasta place that I used to go but it was so long ago. I don't even know if they're still in business. But if money is tight I would eat at Hankuk University campus. It's like $3-5.

BTW, I’ve seen most of your vids but this one in particular spoke to me, like 😮:
- I’ve lived in Korea before (miss it and hoping to come back later this year).
- Was teaching for a while but not doing that anymore…
- Originally worked in the creative field (pro artist/graphic designer/photographer etc); hoping to get back to it this year.
- And I’m also moving out of (feels like I’ve lived here forever) my current place this very month of February 😀
…see 👆why, although it’s super early here (heck, the roosters aren’t even up this early lol), I had to comment…the correlation 🤯😂
So yes, here’s to putting down/minimizing sugary thangs, gym’ing, accountability, breaking down “impossible” walls and reaching/excelling GOALS 😉

Yes to accountability too! Juno is always on me about my sugar intake. Hope to get that under control once all of the stresses subside. But for now, I'm allowing myself this one vice because it's helping me manage my stress (don't fight me please!!)
