But when the time came and moved abroad, they acquired big things and ate ham but began to fight to the death. ...and worst they went fishy like adultery. Ah now they know, how good are Saging and Ginamos to eat!
Thank you for sharing! I was born in Hawaii but have family in the Laoag City area. We went on vacation to the Philippines several times and visited different provinces and barangays all over PI. I love the simple living there, the people are wonderful and nothing goes to waste like here in America where we take things for granted. Thank you for making these videos, love it!
Filipino ingenuity at its best! This video is sufficient enough as undeniable proof. . Salamat dai sa another great sharing, I really enjoy it... ug pag-amping!
The guy who built this beautiful home is a genius, my only concern is will it hold up to strong winds and heavy rain, I wish this family the best. I would love to live that simple life with a lovely filipina 😊

It brings sweet memories from our old bamboo house in NSamar right in the shoreline... you don’t need air-conditioning (early 60’s). I used to make an igloo from a blanket and let the air coming from below the bamboo flooring... it’s chilly 🥶 inside 👍😛
Hello new subscribers watching from California thanks 🙏 for sharing your beautiful video I love 💕 that cute house I think that house is awesome there beautiful thanks for sharing have a great day
a true entrepreneur which is nothing unusual have seen it many time before on my visits to cebu, the Pilipino is one of the best at putting things to work for him, that many in the west would discard as useless, i had my wedding ring made smaller by a man sat on a wooden box by the road with tools that people in the west would have thrown away, the job was perfect top class jewellers shop could not have done it any better.
Ang balay ay maganda . Magandan nakikita /view, the best ever.. Magaling naca imbinto ng mastera. You should file a patent for the masetera , para walan gagaya. You have to do it soon before someone will do it. Once someone will copy , they can't do that. It is your invention. You will generate money in the future. Good luck , you are on your way to prosperity. Good luck..
Gorgeous views! I need to find an Air bnb in that area for when the Philippines opens again. Hopefully soon! I'm just wondering about landslide! The house is sitting precariously on the slope!
I was thinking of building a house out of 2x6 wood planks and posts . But so far it would cost more than concrete or other methods . Wood is beautiful to look at . Just the termite thing here is a issue .
I asked my wife what asola is, but she was not familiar with that word. I probably misspelled it, but that is how it sounds to me. My wife is Visya. I often ask her about things you talk about or show on this channel. She says your language and culture is similar to what you will find in Davao City, with some differences.
Here in Bukidnon Mindinao we own a nice home. We will soon buy a plot of land near a beach. I prefer a Traditional Kubo type for our holiday home so we can go on holidays for months. If we have a typhoon cheap to rebuild a wooden building. Thank you for showing how cheap it can be to build a Kubo.
If you build that house that side is gengerous for landslide NEAT the road accident is nice place the view is fantastic bit no body guaranty well safe area thanks for watching

I love this house! Of course I wouldn't want to be on the side of a cliff and I would put solid walls on the inside... and hot water is a must. I can't do the cold shower like my wife and children can. Something like the top part only, would be great in the garden of your village project.
Very good to see how the real Philippines build and live. Million-dollar views. A rich house would just be the same thing but made with reinforced concrete, steel, and glass I suppose.
Just share a little idea about the roofing, they should have bèen put more leaves to make it thicker and it would have lasts longer and no rain dripping during rainy season and at least 4 to 5 years before it could replace again .
Just the view alone is worth it. What a million dollar view, priceles, awesome, living with the elements. Thanks

There are wood specie which are hard and strong treat to safeguard the wood from pests.

Amazing view!
Beautiful view, but one little small quake on the rector scale and it’s all gone. And worst yet the people in it.
Actually it is funny because this hut had already survived several typhoons and earthquakes that passed Cebu City.

I often ask her about things you talk about or show on this channel. She says your language and culture is similar to what you will find in Davao City, with some differences.
Azolla is not a Visayan word it is the name of those tiny water plants that is used to feed swines and other livestock.

If you live in Southeast Asia, trust me you don’t need a hot shower.
Hello Zebra hope you are doing okay over there?
Very good to see how the real Philippines build and live. Million-dollar views. A rich house would just be the same thing but made with reinforced concrete, steel, and glass I suppose.
This is really cool, but won't it blow away during a monsoon or heavy storm?
During storms they tie up the house to the ground
Did they use the bags of gravel for a retaining wall for that Nipa Hut?
Yes they did, but it start to collapse since
@@villagepeoplephilippines ..... Although our land isn't a cliff.... we should probably stick with cement... 😁

Nice view, but it’s another recipe for disaster...
I love it, but about rain.....does it get wet inside? And another thing.... I'm scared of heights 😭. I would need a no see-through floor 😫.
