Don't put grease grease before installing the discs. It will prevent the heat transportation. I did this also and the shop told me to do this not. I like your video's a lot man, keep up the good work!!
I doubt it was that little screw that caused the issue. The disc would of been clamped to the hub with the wheel bolts anyway. But, good work, new discs and pads have saved the day. Easy on the copper lube though, Sir
Yes I thought about that after I said it, the wheel bolts would have pulled it together. I now think it was the rear passenger side brake pad where the caliper had caused an indent. Either way, changed and much better! Yes I need to calm down with the lube, always use way too much!
like you videos and style...i have an S4 myself. as far as i can see there is no workshop or haynes type manual, other than their diagnostic overpriced rubbish, however i am pretty sure that copper slip is not recommended these days...i would be very wary putting that stuff near my brakes.
Thank you! Hope you are enjoying the car. Yes all Haynes manuals seem to be generic now without any really in-depth information about specific cars. I will keep the copper grease info in mind and do some more research into it before next use!
I have just used the link and it says they’re compatible with the S4 B9, have you sent you B8? I’ve had it happen with AutoDoc once where they sent a B8 part instead of B9.

Thanks for the info I’ll keep it in mind! Thank you 🙏🏻
Glad that's sorted, I know how annoying and issue you can't find can be.😎
Me too, it was getting VERY frustrating!
Whats the link for the front pads?
Also wanted to ask if you are getting squeaking now using the set up?
Just added the link in the description 👍🏻
Yes squeaking was pretty bad, got better over time. Thought I may have used too little grease in the area it is squeaking but not sure.
Take the Rangey to Bantham 😂
Nice to see you got rid of the judder 👍
What’s there? 😂 Yes FINALLY!
@@JAYPCARS Sand…. It’s a beach near Bigbury 👍
