I bought my Mulholland two and a half weeks ago already racked up 1,500 miles within that time period. first thing before leaving the dealership was having them flip the mirrors left for right which flipped them up and now you’re not having to look so far down just to see behind you. Lots of visits to level 2 chargers some free some not but as of the typing of this comment none of the charging apps go beyond 2022 so it only recognizes the Livewire Type One. This leads to every charging stop I meet a lot of people with tons of questions and interest despite some criticism online from those range anxiety folks.

7:15 I love that song. I was listening to it before I started the video.

I own the Mulholland ABD the Livewire One. Have to admit the Mulholland blows my mind, in a good way. However, it will never take off because of the other EV motorcycle competition. I truly feel this Mulholland was made for just me and me only.

@612doteth I think it has a shot at taking off because it hits a certain sweet spot. Revzilla quotes the Federal Highway Administration as saying the average U.S. motorcyclists rides 2,312 miles a year. That comes out to just 192 miles a month or 44 miles a week. At that rate the Mulholland more than meets the range needs of the "average" rider. Assuming that stat is fairly accurate, then the bike's biggest downfall - it's range - shouldn't be a concern for "average" riders. One of the things that makes the Mulholland such a joy to ride is how light it is, which with today's tech isn't yet achievable with bigger battery bikes. Heck, it's even light when compared to ICE bikes with similar performance specs.

I would definitely love to have one. I would probably only drive any motorcycle that I own around town anyway. If I go out of town, it’s usually with family and friends so I wouldn’t be riding a bike..

He’s right, I tried it… and the first thing that came to my mind was….”the future”.

If you were shopping for a new EV Motorcycle what would you buy? I love my LiveWire 1 but I could really use the L2 Charging so for my next EV motorcycle I would personally look to Energica, I believe they are the only brand that puts L2 and DCFC on their bikes.

I'm not in the market for a new bike right now but if I were I'd probably go with a Zero SR/S. For me, personally, it represents the best mix of comfort, utility, range, size, weight and price compared to what else is currently available. It's big downside is no DC fast charging. Conversely the downside of the Energicas is slow AC charging. I'm also not a fan of the Energicas weight distribution, oil cooling & chain drive. The Experia is the exception. It's weight distribution is excellent, although for me, at 5' 8", it's a taller bike than I want to deal with in city stop-n-go traffic. Just my opinion but I think the Experia is currently the EV touring leader while the SR/S gets my nod for best all-arounder. As for LiveWire, I think the Mulholland would make a fantastic bike for those that ride relatively short distances. It's probably the most fun of all of the ones mentioned to ride because it's so light due to its smaller battery and feels so well built.
