each one of them could easily beat me and yet he 1v3ed them like it was nothing... scary
I mean it's cuz playing as a boss in connected mode, you're really going against the skill of ~1 player
As in, if you had each person on the team be someone of your own skill, and you played as the boss, it would be a pretty much equal chance that you win or that the team wins
Cuz even though they're 3 people Vs 1 boss, the boss is able to send ridiculous things like high stakes and broken tetriminos (or different things I think depending on the avatar they choose)
Still impressive though but yeah
@@thecelestialstarship also the attack lessens as less players are "up" so if one player could do the same as all 3 it would be pointless to play modes relating to 3v1 scheme. It's still impressive but i just like explaining game mechanics

This was actually the first time ever seeing three players lost and the boss win in Tetris Effect: Connected.
If you play during the full moon you'll see the team lose a lot more often

Actually, yes, there is a ranked mode, though the way the ratings are calculated is not really the same as Tetra League (especially for Connected VS - the mode you're seeing here).
Also, the ranked queue for this mode only exists 24 hours per week (from Saturday midnight to Sunday midnight UTC), so keep that in mind if you're planning to play ranked.
Yeah there is ranked for Zone battle (1v1s with the zone), connected Vs (this mode), and classic/modern score attack
Connected Vs is specifically* the one where 1 person plays as the boss is only there for 24 hrs on the weekend tho, as someone here said - otherwise it's 3 people Vs always an AI, called "Connected"*
But ranked in this game only uses skill rating (SR), a number at 2500? when you first play, I think Doremy is like 8000-something and myself I'm 6800 or so

-However actually, with connected Vs, I'm not sure if that has SR or even ranking, cuz it just says "Cleared area: 3" where the other modes say the SR number
Ignore this last bit, Connected (3ppl Vs 1 AI) has no ranks but connected Vs (3 ppl Vs 1 person, only there 24h on a weekend) has ranked

@@thecelestialstarship The one where it says "Cleared Area" is Connected, not Connected VS. Connected VS does have its own SR system and skill-based matchmaking, while Connected itself does not have either of those.

1:32 Bad strategy, you should not be attacking while the enemy has broken. Use defence mode instead.
