I'm sorry about your father and I am sorry about the state of the world 🌍 right now I came out as bisexual later in my life and I am very lucky to have a supportive family but at the same time I live in a red state and the world is scaring me right now I wish I could tell you something more encouraging, profound, or positive about it getting easier or that you will be okay but I can't because I don't even know if I am going to be okay because I feel completely alone while living here and I am in fear for the future and for my very life. I don't know who you are I don't know what your personal struggles are or what experiences you have gone through in your life but I just want to tell you a few things that I may never be able to tell another person ever again next year and quite possibly for the rest of my life if in fact I do end up living under a dictatorship in the near future and that is fuck your unloving father, protect yourself and your lover if you have one at all cost and stay safe in your closet where they come for all of us but never forget who you really are inside no matter what anybody else tells you even your own family and even when you have to pretend to be somebody else in order to protect yourself and don't ever let anybody else in this world take who you really are or what you really feel and who you really love away from you no matter how hard this world tries to break you I know that is immensely easier said than done trust me I truly do know but fight for those things anyway because all those things are the only things worth fighting for and all those things make up who you really are deep inside your soul! I love you as a fellow human being and as a fellow member of our community and remember the first pride parade was a riot friend goodbye 🫂😢❤.
I was so proud of Stef when she disinvited her father to her wedding. That was absolutely so raw, and I'm not a crier, but that had me in tears. Especially because even throughout the series before Frank died, they could still civil. The Fosters is my comfort show, and Stef & Lena are one of the most realistically portrayed lesbian couples in screen.
