This is absolutely beautiful. Ever since Phoebe opened for The National and joined them for a few songs, I was praying for a legitimate recorded collaboration. These are two of the absolute finest artists making music in 2019, and I think I can speak for EVERYONE by saying that we need a full Matt/Phoebe album a la Better Oblivion Community Center sooner than later.

I learned about Phoebe Bridgers shortly after my separation from my wife about a year ago. I listened to everything, since I had to ditch all the music I had listened to for the decade beforehand. She saved my life last Winter. Better Oblivion was an amazing surprise and I saw them in Cleveland. My ex has bascially been in a relationship since and we try staying friends so this song just gutted me. Still alone. Still sad. Walking on a string.
I have this theory that you can't truly be friends with an ex until you're actually totally over them. If they respect you and your mental health they will understand. Goodspeed Rob, it'll get better. Focus on yourself.

The friends thing won't actually work until a ton of healing has happened. Could be 5 years, could be 10, could be never. When things are still this raw, it's impossible to sincerely be friends.
Best wishes. It's a rough situation that will eventually get better. One day you'll wake up and say "holy sh*t, I'm actually OK!" May that day come sooner than later.

Beautiful song, really beautiful. And in my humble opinion an amazing job of mixing and post producing this piece. They both have incredible voice tones and also exquisite feeling, perfect combination. Maybe they should do more things like this.

Man I was so high when I was watching the movie laughing my ass out then this song came in the right moment and dammit it took me places. I paused the movie searched for the song; then my trip started as I pressed the thumbnail.
