Yeah, her fixation on that and the fact he was Somali just made me question if she actually distrusted him because he felt wrong or if she's just racist and sexist. Sure, he shouldn't have taken the child out of the daycare, but I feel like there is more to the story here than just "bad, colored man tried to kidnap my kid".
