- When a pothole took out his mom's tire, Monte Scott decided he needed to take action. Now his community is recognizing him for his good deeds. Steve Hartman has his story on the road.

Aspiring construction manager and road worker! Much respect! I hope he gets into a good university with major in construction management, design, architecture, or landscape architecture and earns his bachelors and does big in school (especially with STEM subjects) and in the working field! The mayor takes the time to honor him at a council meeting aka photo shoot while nobody is doing anything about the potholes.
Mayor can't do anything because much street repair project money comes from the state.

That's a mom who is doing a job that no one has a manual on how to did. That is also a kid who's is going to do some great things.

Home Depot or Lowes or some asphalt company needs to sponsor this kid. At least if he fills the holes with asphalt the repair will last longer than a few days or a week .
