A RUNNING lead clip set up with TUBING is particularly dangerous. The tubing with it's low diameter can easily get clogged up and will prevent the mainline from running through the tubing. The lead will become fixed on the mainline therefore impossible for the carp to get rid of the lead.

This isn’t true, line flows through tubing freely with minimum friction especially in water.

Refer to Matthew Collins "Stop using lead clips like this" From 9 minutes onwards.

Nah mono and tubing won't clogg even in the dry after 2 months use it slides off

Lubrication helps more than you and Matthew Collins realise, such as when putting a lead clip on in the video you refer to between 18 and 19 minutes. Just the look on his face shows his misunderstanding and inexperience whilst he tries to shake the lead off. If you both "go in dry" at every opportunity you will make it harder on yourselves ;)

The fact is it's a tether rig and you find it funny that it could result in the death of a carp
