    I tried playing this in a music store and its by far the best digital piano I've ever played, solid and light action on the keys, really feels like a grand piano

    Thanks for the good presentation of the Yamaha 735, but what I was missing was the assessment of the keyboard. The Yamaha 735 has the keyboard that has the easiest common keys of the known brands. This is very essential for beginners. All the sounds are a nice gimmick, but I think you buy this ePiano because you want to start playing and because you don't like the heavy keyboards. I rented a Kawai CA49 because everyone says that you can only start playing with a solid wood keyboard. This is a complete nonsense. For me, the Kawai CA49 keyboard is way too heavy. On some chords, I notice how I can't press down all the keys at the same time because I don't have the strength in my fingers. I am 60+ and have been playing the piano for half an hour a day for 18 weeks now and I still don't have the strength in my fingers, quite the opposite, I just have sore tendons in my fingers. Next month, I will exchange the Kawai CA49 for a Yamaha CLP-735, because the keyboard is much, much easier to press. It feels like you only need half the force. You don't become a concert pianist at 60+, so my fingers don't need to be trained for a concert grand. I also don't understand why you need a solid wood keyboard from a concert grand in an upright piano. What I am trying to say is: the Yamaha CLP-735 is the ultimate entry level piano for children and adults. In my opinion, no one needs the heavy keyboards. This approach of the keyboard to a concert grand piano I find a complete aberration. I would love to have the Yamaha CLP-745, 775 or 785, but the higher the number of the CLP series the heavier the keys and that is absolutely unnecessary in my opinion.

      Clp 625 to 745 is not an upgrade at all. 745 may be louder a bit but headphones will sound identical.

    Hello. I want to buy CLP 735 gloss black. I think color has no effect on sound. Do you think rosewood or gloss black is more beautiful? And do you think it's worth paying that price difference?

    • @ePianoscouk
      @ePianoscouk  2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hi! You're absolutely right-color has no effect on the sound. As for which is more beautiful, it really comes down to personal taste. Gloss black has that sleek, modern look and can make a real statement in a room, while rosewood has a more classic, elegant vibe.
      As for the price difference, the gloss black finish usually costs more due to its premium look and the extra care required in the production process. If the visual appeal and that polished aesthetic are important to you, it might be worth the extra investment. Ultimately, go with the one that makes you happy when you see it in your space!

      @@ePianoscouk Thank you very much. I wonder if the same wood is used when making the piano Yamaha CLP 735 glossy black and rosewood colors? What wood is this model made of? Would you recommend this model as I am starting out for the first time?

    • @ePianoscouk
      @ePianoscouk  3 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Thanks so much Robin. I'm afraid to say that CLP930 has long been discontinued. In fact, it's around 20 years old (almost an antique in digital piano techology terms!). CLP735 is vastly superior in every way.

    1 rhythm pattern only correct?

    • @ePianoscouk
      @ePianoscouk  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      There are 20 rhythm patters on the Yamaha CLP735. The give you a variety of drum backings and a bass guitar that joins in with the music you are playing. It's quite basic compared to the sister CVP models, but it's quite a fun feature to use when you feel like having a group join in with you.
