Good Luck with the 🪲Mate, I was waiting for you to say G Man had a go in the angle grinder!! Hope the weather allows you to progress a bit further 👍
Cheers mate and G left me to do the dusty work and hopefully I can get more done on it soon 🤞
hope you have understanding neighbours...and you bought them all a drink. Lucky you had that spare piece of pipe. Will be doing a PP on Sunday.
Only got one close neighbour, and they're brilliant, can't believe I cut through that pipe lol. Good luck with the treatment 👍🏻
The weather has been terrible, i work outside and hardly got any jobs done. The veg pond is coming on great, im dreading getting them pesky parasites. Hope you have a better weekend andy
Cheers, Craig fingers crossed on the parasites 👍
At least the leak was a quick winner mate. Hope you're on top of the tric, always crap at this time of year mate 👍🏼👌🏼
Cheers, mate fingers crossed. The little bliters are gone now 🤞
Nice❤ can’t wait too see the plant filter…
Cheers Gee love if nothing else goes wrong I may get to finish it 😂
Brilliant vid again mate it reminds me of the time my mate was making a raised flower bed next to his pond and was shoveling away at some rubber thing in his way which turned out to be his pond cable 😮
Cheers Dave and it's not the first time I've cut through something while doing DIY and I'm sure its not going to be the last 😂
Hope you get everything sorted andy, and i hope little Jacob feels better soon 🥰
Thanks josie 😀👍🏻

I do like to see a man messing with his tools 😜
Easily done cutting through concealed pipes. Thankfully disaster averted ‼️‼️‼️‼️
Seems we have some stubborn flukes this season again 😱
Nice update Andy looking forward to seeing the progress on your pond modifications
Thanks bee, I get Graham to service the tools on a regular basis 🤭. Thankfully I had spare to fix the silly mistake. Just need to finish it now... bloody weather lol
Following this veg filter build with interest, ive thought about adding one to my pond. Thanks for your updates andy, there have helped me so much and look forward to them every week 😊
Thanks for the support, I'll keep you updated on the new filter if the weather let's me build it lol
Feel your pain Andy, I’ve recently had to treat for both Trichodina and Flukes as well.
I have used fairly strong PP and Fluke-Solve treatments, and not entirely convinced I’m free of them yet.
Time will tell. 🤞🏼 for you mate, and good work on the filter preparation…. 👍🏼
Thanks, Andy. I've still got another fluke treatment to do, but hopefully, they're gone, and I hope you've got yours sorted too 🤞
Thank you Jacob said your the best X🩵
Hope he's feeling better 😀
It's that time of year again mate, I think we'll all be doing scrapes. Spring is here, but I wish someone would tell the weather 😂😂all the best for the new season mate👍👍take care, Terry.
Cherrs Terry, it wouldn't be spring without some parasites 😂hope you're well. Stay safe, Andy 👍
Had some nice weather hear wanting to do some pond stuff but its been on the days I'm working soon as i get a day off it rains or is to bloody cold. Have a good weekend mate
Cheers mate hopefully you'll get a chance to do something soon, but it's sods law that when it's dry I'm busy at work and rains when I'm at home ☔️
Just thought I'd mention it
Thanks mate, much appreciated 👍🏻
What about a Bradshaws own make liner for you veg filter
Cheers, mate. I've looked at those, but they are the woven type, which the silicone has trouble sticking to, so I may have to get a rubber liner after all.
Sorry to hear about the parasites, what all treatment is there for that? Why did you say you have to stay outside to monitor your pond? Thanks for the education! Hope everything goes smoothly and 🙏 all your fish are doing well! Thanks for sharing!
Hi, There are several treatments available, I used potassium permanganate, which is cheap and very effective on certain parasites such as trichodina. It's not a treatment I recommend unless you are fully aware of how it works, correct dosage and application are followed. The treatment lasts approximately 4hrs and will need redosing within that period. It will decrease the oxygen in the pond, which may cause the fish to jump, or worse, suffocate very fast. (The fish must be monitored continuously until treatment has ended) hydrogen peroxide must be used to neutralize the treatment at the end or during treatment if the fish become distressed. If you are considering using this form of treatment, I advise you fully research how to use it correctly. There are much safer ways to treat but will cost more.
Hope you get the parasite issue resolved soon before they can cause any damage to the koi. Before you do anymore grinding maybe you need to invest in some ground penetrating radar to help locate those hidden pipes. 😂😂
Cheers Ken hopefully the little monsters are sorted 🤞and if I opened my eyes and checked where I put the pipe in the first place may help as well 😂😂 Stay safe Andy 👍
