yes but without the bottom wonky star just the points on top in green and the drunkard in different shades of yellows making a table runner I do not do large quilts just table runners pillows and wall hanger or throws

I really love this triple play! It is wonderful to see what each of you do and the great projects. And your ideas make me want to go see what I can come up with - as soon as I make Natalie's quilt! i like the other two, but love Natalie's. It might be because of her colors. I see waves, but I also see a rainbow. And I love rainbows. :) There is an song I heard some years ago - "I'll Give You A Rainbow" and this quilt reminds me of it. Also, a great gift for someone if you add "I went in search of the rainbow's end and found not gold, but you, my friend" on the label. Okay, gotta go search out my fabrics and make one for my friend. Thanks for the great ideas. :) :-)

All of these are so beautiful! I like the suggestion below about doing Yellows and greens for Jenny's version to look like pineapples! My most favorite is Misty's and I've already got mine planned out with some charm squares I already have and ordered the balance of the fabrics to finish it off just now! Thank you all for such great ideas.

Girls, all are beautiful creations from the chickens of Jenny's quilt to the beautiful flowers of Misty's ending with the wonderful rainbow of happiness from Natalie. I love how you change up what i am learning is traditional patterns and making them into one of your own. But what makes me really happy is seeing Jenny and how see approaches doing things as i am left handed and in sewing, i am really corefisted(scots word for left handed). Although i did learn to cut in hairdressing with right handed scissors(at time of learning left handed hairdressing scissors were over £400 and my mum and dad couldn't afford them for me, so needs must and i learned) and i can only cut right handed in my hairdressing, i am left handed for everything else.I find myself in a pickle sometimes because i am trying to get things the right way around for me from watching some peoples videos, so Jenny is a star for me. Thank you girls for another wonderful video, from Norah, Glenochil Village, Central Scotland

My first quilt I ever made was a drunkard's path. My mother gave me the pattern. I pieced it all by hand. I made it out of off while and red calico material. I just got the batting in to finish making it. I pieced it together 27 years ago and put it back. I just retired 3 years ago and I was 76 when I did. So I was always working because I did not finish it.

Cool Bird-of-Paradise design, Jenny. I'd use a Tri-recs ruler set to make a 54-40-or-fight block rather than a wonky star block, as I find it wastes less fabric (you can actually use strips, or will have rectangular scraps from the print fabric). I'd also probably do something in the big 'empty' space of background where the blocks come together, maybe snowballing them so you get an hourglass looking square/diamond. Love Natalie's rainbow "River Path" and both of Misty's projects (my favourite colours!). Thanks for the inspiration MSQC! ~Diana K.

I am making the River Path using 5" charm pack. When sewing curves, it's hard to be precise. How would you square each block so that when you start assembling the rows, I don't end up with wonky rows? Thanks in advance.

I am beginning to really, Really,REALLY enjoy these videos with Jenny,Natalie & Misty!!!
I loved each one of the project AND Misty's pillow as well. (I thought of the orange peel template ASAP!)
Jenny's idea for the smiley face was cute too.
It's great when families all get along the way these gals do. (I wish my children got along with me, instead of distancing themselves due to family issues when their dad died and due to my chronic illness I remarried simply because I was all alone, and needed companionship and help too.)
Every time I see the Triple Play video OR any of the Doan Family MSQC Videos...it reminds me of a happy family.....something I don't have.
God Bless you Jenny, Natalie, & Misty.....you make my days so happy! For just a few minutes I can pretend that I too, belong to this family of quilters!

I would like to make Jenny's quilt with Kaffe Fassett colors since it's the Bird of Paradise. I love Misty's colors and would probably copy that and the pillow. And Natalie's design will be perfect for some Rt 66 fabric I have. While she travels the river, I'll be driving down the road! Great video and great quilts.

My first thought when I saw the block was that it was a pineapple. The pineapple is the symbol for my town's hospitality. I also love the drunken's path or Solomon's puzzle. It's so versatile as you have just shown me another way to use it. I never would have thought to place 2 different blocks together. Well done.

I want to comment on the Glampers. It was a phrase Marjane Butters of
Maryjane's Farm first gave us. It was glamorous camping. Women all over
were redoing their little campers and making them girly. This was 15 to
20 years ago when it started. I think it was a forerunner to the she
shed. Girls only. If you don't know who MaryJane Butters is, she owns
what has become a huge business in Northern Idaho. Not far from the
Washington border. Its certainly worth a look.

I’m seeing three! 🤪 Jenny, yours looks like a pineapple firecracker...different brains. Misty, pretty quilt, so love the pillow. Natalie, vibrant and creative. You ladies did good! Why’d you cover up Misty at the end?! 😳

A humble request. Considering MSQC has probably the largest following of quilters, and the multitude of requests for masks that have been floating around social media, would you consider a research project and ultimately a tutorial that organizes all the content from legitimate sources about what exactly can be used the homemase facemasks? I'm seeing that we need higher thread found, ad our stash won't cut it, but that flannel lining might work, but can it be breathed through and does that matter. Too much of a good thing is stifling many. I want to do this, but I want to do it right. Can you help?
