Day 4 had us embark on a journey filled with unexpected twists and turns. Our drive to Hatyai hit a snag as we found ourselves stuck in traffic, but fear not, we turned the delay into an opportunity to refuel both our car and our rumbling stomachs at some local spots along the way.
After what seemed like an eternity, we finally arrived at our oasis of comfort, the Silom Boutique Hotel, just in time to escape the rain and catch some much-needed shut-eye before dinner. Despite our initial plans falling through, we embarked on a culinary journey through Hatyai's bustling Lee Gardens, indulging in delicious dishes at P'Yen and treating ourselves to some roadside shopping delights.
But the adventure didn't end there! The following morning greeted us with a scrumptious American breakfast at the hotel, setting the tone for a day filled with exploration. Our first stop? The vibrant Kim Yong Market, where we stocked up on local delicacies, souvenirs, and even snagged some foam clogs!
As our time in Hatyai drew to a close, we couldn't resist one last culinary indulgence at the renowned Betong Chicken Rice restaurant, savoring every bite of their famous Hainanese Chicken Rice. But before bidding farewell to this vibrant city, we made a pit stop at Central Festival for some mall shopping madness, because what's a trip without a little retail therapy?
Join us on this thrilling ride as we bid adieu to Hatyai and head back home to Penang, reminiscing on the memories made and eagerly anticipating our next adventure. Don't forget to like, share, and subscribe for more travel escapades!
