I just built an 8'x8' smoke smoke house and was researching a cold smoke box. WOW - thank you very much! I was thinking I was going to have to buy some Chinese made POS that wouldn't last till the water got hot, but you've cured that (pun intended) - - awesome. Thanks again. I've got meat to smoke
What I like about this design is that it "slips" together - soldering is optional. Some builds require a machine shop with applicable skills. LP Gas smokers suck all the oxygen out of the box so using a pellet tube is problematic. I have a workaround but it's a pain and requires constant monitoring. And the song by Boston really ROCKS! As a former bassist, I always admired theirs. Just remember that too little smoke ever ruined a brisket.
Asparagus cooking pot on Amazon, a low volume air pump (aquarium), 1/2" 3 way copper tee, 1/2" copper coupling, 3/8NPT to 1/4"(?) hose nipple. piece of what looks like 1/8 brake tubing or 1/8 copper pipe to fit inside the nipple and extend past the tee to create vacuum , probably 12-18" of 1/2" copper tubing, no idea why the elbow is there, someone may want that. I think he used the NPT coupler as a nut on the inside of the lid? Could maybe use another copper coupler to the tube to lock it under the lid, or a 1/2" bulkhead fitting

Dans une conception assez proche de votre générateur, avec de la sciure de hêtre sèche, j'ai pas mal de condensation à l'intérieur sur la partie supérieure. Aussi, j'ai une pompe de 5 watts qui devrait suffire, mais ça ne crache pas beaucoup de fumée. Avez vous une astuce pour une meilleure sciure qui mouronne. Un conduit à l'interieur pour que cela respire plus ..... je ne sais pas. Merci Bien cordialement Eric
Brilliant idea.. Have you tried to run it with the pipes on the bottom (upside down compared to this orientation)? It's the main difference between Bella Smokin It and the Big Daddy smoker. A TH-camr showed the Bella Smokin it to be more precise. Also, can you provide a part list for ease of replication?
