Picked up my 1 of 1 on the whole east coast 2021 camaro ss 1le in wild cherry tint coat with a manual ! When I was 16 I was blessed to be able to get a 2019 rs auto and couldn’t be happier with my 1le crazy to think I was able to pull it off at 18! I had gotten the gm cold air intake from the factory pre tuned and it’s absolutely amazing. Only thing I don’t like is that there’s only 1le badging on the brakes.
I would get carbon fiber diffuser, ZL1 1LE spoiler wing, sideskirts, front splitter and mirror caps all in carbon fiber. Also a sun/moon rooftop To make it the ultimate SS Looks wise!
I won't even lie, I'm not a car person and don't know much about cars, but the Camaro car is my Dream car! I originally wanted the wild cherry color, but after seeing your other video and now the car, I'm like I need this exact one lol!!!! Also, I def want it in a manual! I loved this review, I look forward to seeing some more videos.

Now I'm just starting to save up for a down payment on my dream car, which I will custom build and order. A 2022 2SS convertible, color will be the orange offered as a premium color option for 2022. After all the option I want...it will cost a little south of $70k. But it will be a dream car. I feel I deserve something after raising 3 girls and sacrificing my wants for years. I have a 2020 2SS 1LE same color, one of the wonderful things that happened to me, I went through a drive through car wash with it, and a roller came down and damaged my windshield, i heard it but didn't notice it until 3 days later, if left a ruler pattern. hasn't been perfect since.
@@Gonin60 I have not, at the time the only way was through GM, I have gotten used to it since, it's just a mar on the lower passenger side, repair wouldn't do it either due to integrity of the glass concern.
I’ve driven a lower trim ‘19 Camaro, and wasn’t really impressed. THIS car, I haven’t even driven and I’m impressed. We have GOT to take a drive through the canyons.
Great Video, My 2022 2SS 1LE is scheduled to be built the week of 10/18, let’s see if that happens, FYI, you can no longer get the GM Cold air intake, it’s on there order sheet but when trying to submit it , the computer kicks it out, when I contacted GM parts and OEM, they both told me the part has been discontinued, keep putting out your Video’s you give good Content, it’s good to see when you look in your garage it puts a Smile on your face 👍
@@Gonin60 comparison of all the CAI for GM LS/LT engines the Rotofab has always proved to be the best performer. You can look up the data from the top GM performance tuners and shops they all say the say the same thing..
What made you go with the ss over the 5.0 ? I know that the coyotes do lack that punch when you step on the throttle but loves to scream up top and they do great with simple mods . I love the lt motors but the coyotes seems to be more robust
Wish mine came in red seat belts! I mean it’s a 21 1le TRACK CAR MAN! I think Chevy should’ve added a little bit more cool stuff on all 1les for the money
With the ventilated seats be sure your floor ac option is on with your HVAC settings as the vent seats pull the cool air off the floor up through the seats. With the floor vent option off you won't have much low floor cool air for the seats to pull upwards :D
@@Gonin60 haha, very true.. but still a few small steps above nothing! Loll. Not fancy enough for actual cooled seats 😂 now.. I believe I have seen some mods to improve the cooling (and also a mod to increase the recline capability) 🧐

Congrats on your purchase. I reserved a 2022 1LE and I just can't wait. One thing where I still have doubts is the comfort of the ride. Is it really stiff? How does it feel when you hit bumps and cracks in the a straight line and in curves (steering feel, any bottoming, else)? A video of a ride with comments would be really appreciated.
Yeah I’ll do that. I’m just over 500 miles on the car. Magnaride helps out a lot. Overall I’m happy with ride quality. The really hard bumps you feel them but that’s to be expected. It is a touch more firm than my mustang but not much. Cornering and curves the car just stays planted. Steering doesn’t get too heavy which I like.
@@bryandixon6598 Well I did try a 1LE 2019 and I was able to compare with a Mustang GT 2018, but without the Perf Package. Even then, I liked the 1LE ride better. For the comfort of the suspension and overall feeling. I did not like the steering feeling of the GT and it felt more heavy. And even tough the reliability's score of the Mustang is higher, I prefer 1LE because of the ride, the killer look and to the package that offers more for a lower price than the Mustang Perf Package. So I am keeping my 1LE 2022 reservation and going with the Riverside Blue color. I just hope that Chevrolet will be able to deliver with all that is going on with the supply chain.
Yeah these Camaros do look and sound great!! In speaking of winter driving my 2020 LT1 came with Goodyear Asymmetric 3 all seasons. Not the best for racing traction however they did fine when it was super cold outside. I believe there may be an Asymmetric 5 all season out now that could be worth looking into for winter driving. Look forward to things to come!
Fix your audio. Audio is only coming through the left side on certain clips. Aside from that, I wanted to ask how you are liking the color. Also if you were to do it all over again, would you get the Camaro SS 1le or Mustang Performance Pack.

Wow. Austin that is an amazing car. Performance aside I think an LT1 would be a let down. You just can’t get many features in that platform. The camera seems like a must for safety in the Camaro. I know others say you get used to it but I dunno.

I worry the build may never happen. If you had to guess with everything going on how long would you think it will take to get a allocation? Is there any one that you can think of that I could speak to outside the dealership that might be more of assistance other than my local dealership? Thank you! So they haven’t accepted your build yet? Allocation is needed to even place an order. Build accepted is a whole different thing. 22s have started to show up on dealerships but the Camaro plant had another shut down but it is back up. It’s tough to say. I would imagine you get it in December but it’s so tough to say.

@@Gonin60 I agree it just seems like the ILE has EVERYTHING, the exhaust, magnetic ride suspension wheels, tired etc and most importantly if chose a manual it has the Tremec six speed? (Correct me if I'm wrong) I feel like the Mach 1 with the handling package is the direct competition but it's nearly 10K more and usually has a ADM.
@@GarveyMustangMan yes I agree and correct on the transmission. The Mach 1 is a better comparison but IMO Ford is asking too much for that car. It does have 25 more hp than the camaro but the camaro has 35 more ob feet of torque. I guess you could spec a GT pp to compete with the camaro. This chassis is unreal in how the car handles.
