My only problem with the pack is now I can’t use the highchair on my infants because they need to know how to sit up and I can’t figure out how to get them to sit up for the life of me. I’ve played with them for hours and they’ve learned to grab and stuff, but they won’t sit up 😭
@@Couldntcomeupwahandle You have to keep spamming the option "tummy time together" until they unlock the other's milestones (lift head, roll over, to back, and roll over to tummy) after that the option "practice sitting" will appear and that's pretty much it.

Let’s address the elephant in the room: this pack is not exactly growing together it’s growing together WITH INFANTS. An expansion pack is where I should be bombarded with gameplay and items. It should (quite obviously too) EXPAND my game. There wasn’t anything new with toddlers. No strollers or anything like that. There wasn’t anything for children. I’m battling to skip the urgent to not skip that life stage altogether. I’m pretty sure all we got was a treehouse 🤣🤣 even though we got high school years not that long ago that doesn’t mean they couldn’t throw a little something more for teens like oh idk make sure there’s a height different between them and young adults because I’m roaming Willow Creek and I see a fine sim only to hover and it’s a teen 🤣🤣 nothing much for our elders either. In fact I’m pretty we only got that keep sake box. No new traits other than for infants. No new careers. I’m throwing active day career into the suggestion box because imagine being able to open your own daycare almost in a set up like dine out but it actually works (lol imagine) or be able to do it from your own home. I had EXPECTATIONS with this pack. Base game infants were lacking so much I had to go buy the pack. It was only for the additional infant content that I bought the pack. Otherwise? Hell no. I could pretend the family dynamic thing was real like I’ve been doing this entire time. I don’t need no sim to stay over more than one night at my house lol sun come up and they’re plumbob better not be hovering under my roof 😂

The artificial hair colors in the game need a whole do-over. It’s so bad. Also I think all the hairs should have an option to make them split dyed or ombré with your color choice

The female hairstyles I need most is locked behind an expansion pack that is useless to my style of play. I feel like they should make stuff packs from each EP of the items in it for people who don’t want the full expansion. EA has no logic whatsoever
I also think they kinda keep recycling. They take some of the same suits shirt pants and basically just use it with a different texture and it looks lazy. And not to mention some of the new hairs you definitely can tell they took their time with some but then the mesh on the others is just awful and lazy example the longer Afro mesh hair is absolutely horrible it looks like they just zoomed in all over the hair texture when they could’ve made it more defined just like some of the others they made with this pack. It’s kind of repetitive amongst them.

i think the weird icons are using the base template for the game ? when u go in sims 4 studio the model and texture for the sim has that exact same face, and its how the grim reaper looks without his mask
I wish growing together was a free pack like the holiday and guitar one (if anyone even uses them-). I think there was a lot of hits and misses with the pack especially the fact that so many of the highlights of the new update are locked behind a paywall some of us can't afford/can't buy right now :/
We need more hair styles in base game and more hair colors. EA made the base game so boring and dull on purpose just to have people buy DLC’s . Its so annoying.

As someone who has only had a base game for the last 3 years, this game is super bare. You run out of things to due once your sims get all the skills and promotions. Once you've had a few kids and built up your home there's nothing to do. I don't have $20 to add these small things tbh but honestly, I think most of this should have been base game. The infants are insufferable and boring as base game only.

We desperately need an elders pack. Canes, walkers, wheelchairs, could literally make an entire expansion out of it. A community town “Simorida” a mini Florida for the retirees. Finally introduce funerals and funeral homes. New careers: Care Taker, Home-Health Aide, Funeral Director. New teeth options; broken, wood teeth, and dentures/gums. Game mechanics? When they grow into elders they’re more likely to spend time with close family, new walking style everyone adopts. New moodlets aching bones, brittled bones, memory recall, trip down memory lane, so many things chEap Asses coulda done
I was really hoping for a super sibling aspiration so my sims kids could have a closer connection and maybe the reward trait be like “super connected to siblings” with special interactions and stuff

My honest opinion is this doesn't add enough for an expansion. I'm tired of paying 60 dollars for something that adds very little to my game. Many of the new things are tied to a single world and I hate that aspect.

The birthmarks, at least the face one are so glitchy.
They will disappear/be removed in both CAS and Live mode

A majority of the afro-texture hair is behind a paywall and I think that's ridiculous
Also in my opinion I think most of the clothes fit my sims so goofily 😭 like they make them look so much bigger than they actually are and it’s just annoying when I’m trying to get a specific look and it turns out looking they are swimming in they’re clothes ☹️

Everything about the sims 4 is lacking and pathetic and a straight embarrassment to the franchise.
I do think that they should have added one changing table and at least one bike to the base game that would be nice because my kid sims wants to ride a bike but I can’t teach her because I don’t have a bike.

As someone who has only had a base game for the last 3 years, this game is super bare. You run out of things to due once your sims get all the skills and promotions. Once you've had a few kids and built up your home there's nothing to do. I don't have $20 to add these small things tbh but honestly, I think most of this should have been base game. The infants are insufferable and boring as base game only.
This is very true, I cant imagine playing vanilla at all I'd get too bored.

I love the game play of the pack but as far as CAS goes all the hairs are terrible. Also a super grandparent aspiration would be amazing 🥰
99.9% of CAS items are for non-POC. Let us have something for once. They’re well overdue for this kind of CAS diversity. Relax your nerves.

We desperately need an elders pack. Canes, walkers, wheelchairs, could literally make an entire expansion out of it. A community town “Simorida” a mini Florida for the retirees. Finally introduce funerals and funeral homes. New careers: Care Taker, Home-Health Aide, Funeral Director. New teeth options; broken, wood teeth, and dentures/gums. Game mechanics? When they grow into elders they’re more likely to spend time with close family, new walking style everyone adopts. New moodlets aching bones, brittled bones, memory recall, trip down memory lane, so many things chEap Asses coulda done

I was really hoping for a super sibling aspiration so my sims kids could have a closer connection and maybe the reward trait be like “super connected to siblings” with special interactions and stuff
Am I the only one that finds the way the infants move in CAS is creepy af??? 😂😂 I currently have a 7 month old & she doesn't move that way... if she did, I'd still find it creepy 😂
The fact that the pack is 40 usd, everything should be base game you know why, it’s a life simulation this isn’t like an extra lifestyle like island living or eco life ect it’s literally just stupid, I understand that they gotta make money and the base game is free now but forty bucks?? I think they’d get a lot more sales if the prices were realistic. I only buy packs when they’re 55% off and even then it’s almost never worth it
Tbh I'm quite sure they are planning a pack specially for elders. Because they also didn't add anything for teens, Wich makes sense because we had a teen expension pack before it. So I guess they are just going to put elders in a seperate pack.
I agree some of these thing should've have been basgegame then again if you really thing about what would be the point of Cas if you don't have nothing for cas player since it's free. I agree with the while we needed more aspirations and more for elders in general. And even teens should've got a little something. As cas/game player I really enjoy this pack and I stay using the hairs especially the braids I've been wanted that since hs. I felt like it wasn't enough hairs for black. Even tho I agree I'm just think ea wise you make certain stuff basgame the pack wouldn't be worth it. Oh and I another thing I think the should've added a changing table at least one for basegame they all behind a paywall.

I hate when they lock things like afro textured hair and skin detail behind a paywall. You have to pay for inclusion, and it sucks.
So much of this should have been basegame. This shit is why I pirate my packs now, its not worth hundreds of dollars to have basic features for a life sim game and shitty items that look worse than cc.
The one thing that pissed me off so much is not having a changing table , you have no idea how terrible it is to pick the diapers from the floor every single time , they At least should’ve given the base game one changing table and other ones in the pack exclusively, but this is sims so im not surprised lol
My honest opinion is this doesn't add enough for an expansion. I'm tired of paying 60 dollars for something that adds very little to my game. Many of the new things are tied to a single world and I hate that aspect.
A disappointing thing for me was the lack of infant customisation in the pack considering they have practically nothing
