In his new memoir Prince Harry addressed some bubbling tension between his wife and his sister-in-law. He revealed that one of the reasons was due to an exchange about lip gloss - specifically, he says, that the now Princess of Wales ‘grimaced’ when Meghan asked to share hers. Things took a further turn south when Meghan made a comment about Kate’s ‘baby brain’. So, was Kate Middleton right to turn her nose up at Meghan Markle due to her oversharing?

I’ve never shared lip products with anyone because it’s unhygienic, you’re only asking for a cold sore if you do things like that. I understand why Kate was hesitant to share. It’s 2023 people should know by now not to share lip products. It’s common sense 🤷‍♀️

Didn't she put it on her finger though? Doesn't that reduce the risk because I'm sure I've seen mua use a single product on more than one person but simply use a new or clean applicator?

@@Kashish4Eijaz No, fingers are the most unhygienic part of the body apart from the mouth. Especially Catherine was pregnant at the time so a big no. If I were Catherine, I would have thrown away that lip gloss.

@@simipamzat6924 well didn't they say she ran out of hers or didn't have hers so asked to borrow it?
My question remains.. make up artists don't use brand new lip sticks etc. on each person they are applying make up on. They just make use of different applicators or use their fingers. I've seen some use their fingers to apply make up so again to me it seems that a big deal was made out of something very small. But I do understand the other user's point about pregnancy and the risks associated with that. But then what about the risks of applying hair colour while being pregnant.. Kate's done that a few times due to media pressure.. it's unfortunate what's happened really and i think a lot of what happened is down to the way the institution works (setting one up by bringing another down) and also the media. The media constantly compares which is really unnecessary and in some cases very unfair.

@@Kashish4Eijaz well, we can be sure that Kate’s make up artist would not be using public products on her or rather Kate would have had her her own make up items for years now so make up sharing may likely irk her.
For the media forget them, they did same with Diana and Ferguson etc… did that ‘crushed’ Ferguson. Beside Meghan claimed she doesn’t read or watch anything about herself but now we see that’s a blatant lie because she’s obsessed with what the media has to say. You see, nobody has it easy, even William and Kate have their haters…. Media outlets that share lies and damaging stuff about them, but they can’t go around crying and complaining. Look at Charles and Camilla, no couple have had such hatred and vituperation like them for yearsssssss…. And for what?? I mean do they deserve it??

I'd trade The View for Loose Women any day. At least this show doesn't take itself so seriously and they can have fun as well as discussing serious topics. Something The View abandoned years ago.
