it's a metaphor like he's trying and can't escape (or erase hehe) his love like a victim who can't escape a murderer. it's supposed to be like a horror comedy kinda thing. it makes more sense when you read the lyrics too :) it would be a bit boring if they just replicated the original story in the mv. Thats what the show is for. Also just to let you know if you don't already the thai version is based on the manga not the Japanese series. Thanks for reacting!

The MV is just a horror comedy type thing, for fun. I prefer it that way to avoid spoilers from the show in the MV lol. They're adapting all 9 volumes of the manga btw! So excited.

idk why even at halfway through, you were still at the horror/thriller vibe because the music sounds upbeat for me. i haven't watched the Japanese version but i've read the manga so i'm just seeing this MV as a comical skit. maybe the japanese version was too impactful for you that you somehow want to see a little something similar to it through this MV, so i somehow get your confusion.
I must say I’ve seen the Japanese version like 3 times so it might’ve been hard for me to detach myself from it while watching the mv 😂 also since I haven’t seen the official trailer yet, I didn’t even know what to expect. But I still enjoyed the mv a lot. Since you’ve read the manga instead we might also have a different perspective as well. I don’t know how close the Japanese version leaned on to the manga plot. But its really fun to see how that can impact the viewing experience ☺️ Also thank you for watching 🥰
