This newly restored live version CDFF-Lucky This Time by Mr. Big was filmed live at NHK Hall in Tokyo on Sept 26th,1991. Pat Torpey (drums), Billy Sheehan (bass), Eric Martin (vocals) and Paul Gilbert (guitar) are flowing in full power.
evoXS has remastered Mr. Big’s self-titled Mr.Big album to mark its 34 years from
release. The album has been remastered using hi-resolution digital transfers from
the original analog master tapes and will be made available on limited edition high-
quality coloured 180g 12” vinyl LPs (Solid Blue - UK & US) on Record Store Day (22 nd
April 2023). The album will also be made available on Hybrid SACD and MQA-CD.
1989年に発売されたミスター・ビッグのデビュー・アルバム『ミスター・ビッグ』。日本で空
前のブームを巻き起こした伝説的ロックバンドの記念すべきアルバムが、四半世紀以上の時を
超え、新たに発見された未発表音源を収録し発売される。収録音源はオリジナル・マスター・
テープから再リマスタリングし高音質に仕上げた音源を、MQA-CD、ハイブリッドSACDに収録
。MQA-CD盤にはボーナストラックとして、未発表音源「ウォント・トゥ・ビー・ウォンテッド
」を加えた全13曲を収録、SACD盤にはオーディオ・ファン向けに5.1 サラウンドの音源をオリ
ジナル盤と同様全11曲を収録し（SACD盤にはボーナストラック「ウォント・トゥ・ビー・ウォ
ンテッド」は収録されておりません）、伊藤政則氏による解説も封入される。さらにファン待
望の来日公演が今夏に決定。バンドとしては、2017年以来6年ぶりの来日を果たす。詳細につい
ては後日発表される。 今回の来日公演決定と再発盤の発売を記念し、1991年に東京で行われた
公演で演奏した「アディクテッド・トゥ・ザット・ラッシュ」のライブ映像を公開。

Mr Big members are among the most talented musician in US. Paul and Billy are still respected musician to this day. Yet, Mr Big came at the wrong moment. US market had different taste at that time and Mr Big never had a chance to be a big band in US. Luckily they were a big in Japan and Asia. Pat was a very groovy drummer with very beautiful voice. His vocal harmony with Eric is still the best to my ear. So many memory floods my mind when listening to Mr Big.
I miss these days.
