- Today on Corinne's Craft Closet, I show you how to make a one-of-a-kind pair of lace garters. Perfect for a bride-to-be or a burlesque queen. I really love this project because they are really easy to make and they are super sexy. sizzle

Oh wow i didn’t recognize her.
Super cute! I made three garters for my wedding. One for me, one for the groom, and one for the garter toss :) I used an old formal skirt for my material because I didn't fit any more and just happened to be the same as one of our wedding colors!
You just saved me $20. I'll just make my own prom garter instead of having to buy one!
I just sewed this garter for my daughter's wedding using leftover blue ribbon, elastic and lace. Something borrowed. Something blue. Thank you!
Corinne is back!Yay!
Just made my own using this video and loved how it turned out!.. I Used 1 1/4in lace, 2 1/4in wide ribbon, and 1/2in elastic..(I'm plus size so used the wide ribbon to make everything look normal.)
wildrazzadazz Thank you so much for writing down your dimensions! I am also plus size and was thinking that looked small and how to compensate.
We love Corrine!
Thanks for your video-it was really easy to follow. Have just made a lace and ribbon garter for my daughter's wedding next Monday.
Oh my goddess, she is SUCH a puppy here!!
I love that Corinne is back!
My soon to be sis in law would love this. I would love to make her garter for her wedding. Thanks for posting this!
Actually searched for diy garters and the content section is gold, love to see a hidden gem! Hey Corinne!
Yay! These also remind me of the old saloon bartenders back in the day. ^_^ I'd add them to a costume or two!
Thank you, Perfect.
crazy ironic, I've been thinking of making a garter all week.
Thanks Corinne! I'm definitely going to give these a try :) Your tutorials are so clear and precise that there is no room for confusion.
OH MY GOD IT CORINNE FROM THREADBANGER
Thanks Corinne. Great tutorial! These are so easy to do, once I completed one pair I couldn't stop. Can’t wait to see what’s next.
This was great! Love the idea, so going to make some of these. Thanks Corinne!
Thank you SOO much. I made my own garter for my wedding!!! My husband is military, so I used ACU fabric:)
And now my friend has asked me to make hers for her wedding!! :-)

I am so excited to make my own garter for my wedding! Hopefully it works out well and I will send the finished product. Thanks for the video!

GIRL YOU CRACK ME UP....LOL. You guys are so awesome, and entertaining, I'm a stay at home mom now, so i'm getting into DIY, because i've got all the time...but no money, and most of the materials you show and can get at goodwill or we already have. Thanks!

Thank you for this tutorial! I just made my garter for my wedding!
There so funky!
in a good way!
Thank you! I made one for prom but I made it with comic book fabric for my nerdy boyfriend. It's awesome!
I'm SO using this tutorial to make my garter for my wedding! lol
Thinking of modifying these, maybe making them thicker and using another material to make sleeve garters and a matching pair of spats.
i loved this diy!
This was so helpful!! You’re amazing!
Thank you so much! my wedding colors are purple and silver so I did purple ribbon, black lace, blue thread and a little silver bow as my charm. they are so cute!!

There you are! God I missed your DIY videos! *clings*
Excellent video! Always have a hard time w elastic never thought to fold over a piece with a little slit inside for it! .. I'm not so smart apparently lol it seems so obvious now -.-
Awseome!!! Thank you.
Great job
@o2allure You don't want to hold the ribbon directly in the flame, because it may catch fire. >
I always get so happy when i see a new vid from craftzine in my subcriptions :D
YaY!!!
You guys should do a video on how to make spoon rings!
i like it its cool
I made one two years a go for my school prijeckt XD I made a cancan outfit from old nightgowns and some left over cloth ^__^ I wanted it to ahve all the bells and whisles, so I made garders my self, because the once at the store were SUPER expensive!
Corinne should definitely do a another garter video like a before and after type thing
think I could use this to make hair scrunchies?
I missed yooouu!!!! XD What a nice familiar face to see!! :D Great video, as always!!
OMG! I missed you SO much! xoxo! :)
CORINNE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YOU'RE BACKK :))
Where do you get your pins? They are real cute.
So kawaii :3
So, this is where you've been. You just up and left without tellin nobody smh. Well, it's good to see you, girl.
You have changed so much!!
Thank you
OMG i should have had done this for edc!
Lol u made this so simple, too simple I feel like ima mess up hahahah but Ima make this thank you
I love your hair!!! Random...
I don't understand why you burned the ends, could you please explain? Does it work with any ribbon? Will satin or silk do as well?
I've made those :)
My ribbons always snag at the needle on my machine, how can i fix that?
Not to sound creepy, but I LOVE listening to your voice. XD
So does this mean your not doing craftovision anymore? Great vid by the way :)
what does DIY mean! It's been driving me CRAZY! BTW This is sooooooo cute!
I don't know how to sew. 😱
Your work is beautiful! Do you take special orders? 😊 No.... really.
Anybody know what size elastic to use? I'm thinking it's 1/2"?
That's what I used and it worked perfect
Now I have to remake my garter I didn't do a feed through I did lace that's why I was having so much trouble sowing the elastic lmao
I cane to see what stitch you used to sew shut your elastic opening but i see you didnt do that
Can these be made by hand sewing ?
Sure
I'm planning on making some like these.. But material instead of ribbon
Great video and very helpful. Just a little constructive criticism, I suggest maybe using a camera tripod. The camera moving in and out in the beginning was a bit distracting. Overall, great video! :)
Thank you so much it worked a treat!! Xx
HOT PINK AND CAMO!!!!
BTW.... Your skin looks specially beautiful in this vid. So jealous...
Dear Corinne
Good luch with your wedding
I know you have made a video on how to resize jeans once. Well, I always have to shorten my jeans, so do you have an idea on what to do with the scrap fabrics?
And I wear my favourite pairs of jeans so many times that it rips at butt hight, but I don;t wnat to trow them away..
PS. It's my birthday and I got three vintage sewing machines today!
