All a modern update needs to do is give this dude some bicep swivels, universal shoulder joints, and head articulation. The base design is good as it is.
I have a Titans Return headmaster thing that's pretty similar. I'm dumb and can't remember the name, but I could really see it getting repainted as Demolished. I just picked one of these up in a random thrift shop bag today, and it somehow still has all 4 missiles. Perfect condition other than the Minicon being gone, and definitely cool. I missed out on the Armada/Cybertron/Energon toys all together (or I guess other than that boat Mirage) as a children and adult collector, so it's nice to have one. It's super fun in tank mode to articulate the main second as well as the smaller cannons, and in bot mode being able to still transform his arms to become missile turrets is neat. No idea if he did that in the show, but in my head canon it's a thing. The deployable chair is neat in both modes, and overall I can imagine people really liking the toy back when it came out. Love the colour, intuitive transformation, assymetry, and firing gimics. Seems fairly sturdy too. For the time, articulation is pretty solid. I also thought he was supposed to have chicken legs until looking at pictures online, and might display him like that sometime if he makes it to an actual shelf rather than my desk/counter/fiddle toy.
My first Decepticon toy. I too was always confused as to why the anime changed his face color. Fun fact, Transformers Energon revealed the big green eye is actually a monocle/scouter as it breaks away when his first body is destroyed.
Honestly Demolisher is my favorite armada character and figure. I finally managed to get all four versions of the mold, with the energon version being my favorite. It’s a great figure, and deserves a legacy remake. I honestly would love to see him released in a two pack with a remake of Armada Cyclonus. Also fun fact as I’ve done this myself, if you get multiple copies of the same Demolisher, you can take his arms apart, and rebuild him with dual missile launching shoulders! It’s a tricky process as you gotta keep things compressed and keep the springs from popping loose, but it’s worth it.
Aw yes. The guy who when he got an upgrade in Transformers Energon didn't get a name change. Like when Cyclonus became Snowcat (Who also became stupid in the transition. But I digress)
I have 3 of the 5 versions micron legend, powerlinx, and energon. All 3 are nice and blackout is a very good minicon for what minicons were. He’s just missing some arm articulation and head movement then he’d be alright for the modern day but for armada was amazing.
Technically there are only 4 versions of the mold. Though you’re super lucky. You essentially have the RAREST versions of the molds! The reason I say 4 is because the legend version is only slightly different than the hasbro release, simply by having more screen accurate colors, but besides that both releases are very very similar. Though still, your super lucky man! Especially if yours have all their minicons. It’s hard to get a Demolisher online these days with either his missiles, his minicon, or both.
armada was the point where toy did the jumpt to "early full articulation" and let's be hones, we all want all of the main charathers of armada to recieve new toys I actually wanted this one when I was youngher, but it never officially hit retail due to Gig dismantelling, and back then there not the concept of online reselling
I like this figure, a childhood classic, granted it was the cybertron repaint that lacks Blackout, also can't stand up do to age but he's still pretty good.
Demolisher has some big thighs ngl👀... Never was old enough to get any of the Unicron toys but I love how chunky and bulky they were. I love how expressive they made his face too. If he ever gets a modern update, I've love to get him

I was really happy Demolishor is definitely one of the better Armada figures let alone a wave 1 figure that was this solid no less.
Legacy Blitzwing's weird hands that it comes with looks just like Demonlishor's hands.
Hope Legacy will update him. His design is fun, so an update could be even better.

I remember my parents got me this guy and most of the Armada cast Christmas 2002. That was one of my favorite childhood memories.
