I hit 14 weeks today, I go in for an ultrasound a week from now, and it's nervewracking because this isn't my first pregnancy, just my first time making it past the 1st trimester. I'm so excited to see my baby and hear their heartbeat 💓

No way this is 14 wks, I'm currently 14 wks & I remember getting my first ultrasound at 6wks & my baby was just a little bean if this how big my baby is now I can't wait to see him/her later on this week at my next visit 😩
It’s crazy how fast they grow! I was surprised by how much my bean looked like an actual baby by 10 week
I know this comment was a year ago but I saw you had a 6 weeks scan . What country are you? Reason while I’m asking I’m in the U.K and never got a scan at 6 weeks they made me wait till 12 weeks
@@elsanoellien8622 Though this is not directed to me... I'm in Nigeria and I requested one at 7 weeks. It was transvaginal. Results were fatal pole and heartbeat detected. Now at 14 weeks, had an ultrasound done yesterday. I think it depends on the hospital and maybe health concerns, like previous miscarriage (blighted ovum etc.)
@@mary-anneo.2632 I don’t have history of miscarriage but I did bleed with this pregnancy. I was so eager to find out if my baby was doing alright. My fear level went down when I felt movements and I still had pregnancy symptoms. Thank God my baby is doing well.
@@elsanoellien8622 Hi! I was given one between 6 &8 weeks as part of pregnancy confirmation appointment along with a urine test. This was the appointment prior to my initial prenatal one.

T.A Arian it can be risky if you move when they put it in. You can go without the epidural and have the baby natural if you can handle the pain. That’s the safest . I’m in the US
T.A Arian the epidural only hurts a little bit . The contractions hurt worse than the epidural
