Starmaker by Olaf Stapledon is up there, well wroth orth a read if you haven't come across it yet. Looking forward to watching more of your reviews! @@hugonautspod
Hell ya hope you love it! Also PS Cody told me about y'all running into each other at that wedding - small f'ing world. And now I tell him when you comment lol
@@hugonautspod Well... that depends on your cinematic tastes. It's a Tarkovsky film, so if you liked STALKER, then it's good. But It is long and contemplative. The American version is a straight-up action flick by comparison!
@@LoganKearsley Actually, I (Cody) was talking about the Tarkovsky film! Like you say, long and contemplative haha. Didn't realize there was an American one. Wayy newer it appears too. Thanks for the heads-up!
Just come across you guys. Great reviews of some my favourite books.
Welcome, thank you! Any favorites we haven’t covered yet?

I loved the movie - particularly Jodie Foster’s Congressional hearing. I need to give this a shot
The book is even better and quite different! Although they did a great job with the adaptation, perfect way to translate the book onto the screen.
Yo just got the Contact audible, thanks for the idea boys

I love this episode!
If you haven't read The Demon Haunted World, you're in for a treat. Sagan was a genius and its probably one of the most important books I've read.
Haven’t read any of his non fiction actually - looking forward to it!
Contact! I was a teenager when I read it. My dad told both my sister and I to read the book and we had discussions about it.
Sounds like you have a cool dad
There are actually two Solaris movies: an older Russian version, and a newer American remake.
Oh we had no idea about the Russian version! Is that one any good?
